Early Access Review
I don't usually write reviews but when I do it's because a game has me wetter than a category 5 tsunami. I don't even know if that's a thing but if it wasn't it sure will be after M&B is done with my underwear. I played the first M&B game back in 2009 and it taught me two things: the first is that butter is way more valuable than I thought and the second is that your dreams do come through and miracles do happen, in the form of the perfect medieval RPG slash strategy game.

Bannerlord takes those dreams and makes hot love to them while whispering sweet nothings in your ear. Yes it isn't too innovative. How can you innovate on absolute perfection? Yes it took 10 years to come, but even after 10 years it's still the king of this genre. In fact it only goes to show that every single AAA publisher must've had its eyes and ears plugged no to take advantage of the unbridled potential. Yes, its buggy, but you won't care about that when you're bashing Khuzait skulls in with your monster sword for your magnum scabbard. At this time in early access it's already got more gameplay in it than 10 years of CoD campaigns combined. Hell, if Bannerlord wanted to f**k my sister i'd not only let it but I'd also bake it some cookies and watch.

So in case you haven't got it by now, the game is good. It's Warband with better graphics, better UI, better modability and more in depth combat and sieges. If you liked the first game you've already bought Bannerlord, if you didn't play the first game and you ever wanted a cross between Skyrim and Total War this is the game for you and if you didn't like the first then don't come near me or my daughter ever again.
