Game definitely needs some optimisation and general bug fixes, but with some experimenting I was able to get it to a stable and playable state and finished the game without any crashes.

Performance aside, the game is excellent - characters, story, world, etc. I won't go in-depth as many others have already done this and to a much better level than I could.

Some mostly minor complaints:
- Some of the game-play could be tighter, certain mechanics felt a bit clunky. Particularly mechanics involved in stealth sections when slight issues cause wipes.
- E.g. grabbing an enemy through a doorway then attempting to walk back can force the character forward and sideways slightly causing the character to get forced out of position and exposed to enemies
- Saving the game is weird, it can reset to a point earlier than the actual save was and items collected are reset. Can make resets quite tedious in re-collecting items.
- On Hard difficulty, bullet amounts felt like they were tuned for console players where accuracy is expected to be lower. Never actually ran out of ammo, made the game less challenging / dynamic than it could've otherwise been.

Overall, very very enjoyable game. If the game-play was tightened up a bit and some significant performance optimisations were made this could be a contender for a 10/10 game for me.

If you're sensitive to choppy performance / don't have time to experiment with settings to get this to play right then wait a few weeks / months.

It's scuffed but I had a lot of fun playing it with mates. Despite the apparent simplicity you do actually learn the tactics and get better with practice.
And unlike games like phasmo you get to ♥♥♥♥ up the baddies at the end.
Surprised I'm recommending this, but I am. Plus the game name is fun to say. Malum. Malum Malum.
