Game is really fun when it works. Too bad I haven't been able to get in since it launched. I requested a refund and wouldn't consider picking it up until a sale happens AND the server issues are fixed of course.

I got this game originally on PS4 and was really impressed with how amazing this game was back then. I unfortunately never got a chance to finish it and was really excited to see it come out for PC. Unfortunately the port is a complete mess. Not even 30 minutes in, the game has crashed twice for me. I work in software and this isn't an acceptable production release. There appears to have been exactly $0 budget spent on QA. This would have gotten a pass if they charged 20 or 30 dollars for the game, but at $50 it really quite shameful.

I am very disappointed to have to post this review, I am awaiting for the developer/publisher to make this right and to let people know the truth. Here to hoping for a speedy and stable patch schedule.

Update 8/16/2020, this game is still in a broken state and the developers have done nothing t o resolve it. Steam should be legally required to apply the "early access" label to this game, it is that broken.

Paid mods, really? Way to close off an otherwise great game.

Refreshed the dying RTS genre by streamlining the macro process and adding a third dimension of other planets in a match. Worth checking out for sure.

This game is absolutely amazing. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves video games. Why? Because this game if platformer, brawler, puzzler game all combined to one. It brings a fresh spin to class titles lime mario, metroid, and zelda with an amazing art style and even more amazing soundtrack.

In all seriousness, this game is worth your attention and should give it another look if you haven't yet.

This game is so freaking good, I really can't recomend it enough. DO BUY RIGHT NOW.

This game goes back to the core principles of fun game design. You merely have two controls the entire game and must slaughter an onset of enemies. But don't let the sound of the basic gameplay fool you, it is deceptively complex and deep and rewards those who have skills in timing and coordination to amass an insane amount of combos.

What is so deceptively simple is so incredibly deep. To add layers to the basic gamplay, there are various modes, items, and skills that unlock as you play. The animation quality and responsive controls keep you engaged and wanting more, I found myself craving for more enemies after every button press and wanting see what kind of crazy animationsI can pull off. The enemy variety is very high keeping you on your toes and trying to get you to think what your next move is.

On top of all of this, the game adds a dynamic difficulty system where the game speed increases as you amass combos skillfully with no mistakes, TRYING to get you to mess up. Normally this is viewed as grindy, but it makes the gameplay even more rewarding if you can still manage to not make a mistake.

There are multiple modes for you to play through and various difficulty levels as well, the campaign mode is extremely lengthy and has multiple branching paths which will give completionist a run for their money and the average gamer opportunities to find all the times.

All in all, One Finger Death Punch is a game I'll be coming back to again and again.

Very fun, very visually pleasing, but yet not so refreshing version of dota.Original players (not me) are unimpressed but those coming from HoN and LoL should be pleaseantly surprised.
