Fun at first but goes to 0 real quick once you figure out the end-game, which doesn't take long to reach.
Stages are padded out by placing power-ups in far corners.
There is one type of obstacle so there is only one effective play-style.
Power-up animations cannot be skipped and a pain to sit through.

As a dopamine engine type game, it falls far from expectations. Not even holding it to a regular game's standards.

High density of superb detailed pixel art and animation.
Story feels like it exists only as a vehicle to deliver the experience.
Decent gameplay and mechanics but riddled with balance issues and stiff handling.
Most importantly, the game has soul and is not typical slop garbage.
Recommended if interested in its art as the rest of the package holds just enough substance to get you to the end.
