A Masterpiece of Tactical Stealth Gameplay
Pros:

Exceptional tactical gameplay
Unique and entertaining characters
Distinctive setting and tone
Freedom of choice in missions
Excellent music
Cons:

Repetition in some levels

Overall Review:
Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew is likely my indie game of the year. The developers have truly outdone themselves with this title. The game offers exceptional tactical gameplay, with action queuing mechanics for each crew member and intricate timing to take out guards one at a time. Each unlocked character is unique and entertaining, offering a variety of abilities and gameplay possibilities. The setting of cursed pirates and supernatural abilities revitalizes the basic strategy gameplay. Players have much more freedom in mission selection and building their cursed crew. The game's music is excellent and fits perfectly within the game's context. Although some levels can become repetitive, especially when replaying to complete special character missions, the game overall is an exceptional stealth experience and a must-play for fans of previous Mimimi games. I highly recommend this game to everyone, whether you have played games in the genre before or are new to the genre.

Mixed Feelings, Yet Worth a Play

Playing this action-packed adventure as a tester, my feelings are all over the place. The game's got some real highs, like stunning graphics, cool exploration, and satisfying fightswhen they work right. But, here's the kicker: the devs aren't listening to us testers. I kept saying the world feels empty, and guess what? Players are saying the same thing now. Imagine roaming around for ages without a baddie in sight – not cool. And those enemies? Some hit you from a mile away, while you gotta practically hug them to hit back. Plus, the extra foes that keep popping up? More annoying than exciting. It's like the game's missing its potential 'cause they're ignoring the real issues. I'm torn between the fun parts and the letdowns. With some tweaks, this could've gone from good to awesome.
