tl;dr great DLC, definitely worth it if you love total warhammer and are looking for some new content.

The chorf economy is really complex with the 5 resource types. It's intimidating at first, but quickly makes sense, and is a nice departure from the usual formula. The seats of power is an interesting and fun mechanic that lets you customize your faction and gives you something to look forward to. The chorf convoy is more interesting than cathay's, but somewhat frustrating early game when you feel like you need all the resources and don't want to give any up; I think it's going to come in really handy as I get into late game and start having surplus.

The units themselves are fun to play. The goblin units are surprisingly decent, and that special goblin hero makes them surprisingly good. The blunderbusses are so satisfying the way they rip through HP, they are crazy strong. I haven't even gotten to the late game units yet, but I saw a streamer use the trains and they look hilarious (in a good way). Oh, and the new Hashut lore kicks butt!

The RoC campaign is great too! You don't deal with rifts, instead you hunt down the missing drill pieces, so I would say RoC is actually better than IE for this race.

Considered among Warhammer fans to be the best thing to come out of the End Times plot, this 4-player cooperative game plays mostly like a melee-oriented Left 4 Dead -- in fact, it's been jokingly called Left 4 Rats. With an active forum and modding community, engaged developers, regular content releases, and an average of about 1000 players online at any given time, it's no Call Of Duty, but it's still a fun game with solid mechanics and a high skill cap. An engaging loot system ensures you always have a goal to work towards, and the game has something to offer for casual and hardcore players alike.

This game is really fun with friends or with randos on the internet. Buy different guns and powerups and blow up dinosaurs.
