This game 100% nails the translation of the WH40k Universe into a CRPG. If you're a fan of the IP, you will not be unhappy with how it's portrayed.

Oh, it's also a good game. Sure, there are a few bugs, but nothing that has even come close to ruining my fun. I'm 100 hours in an feel like the game is STILL finding ways to surprise me. One of the happiest surprises of the game for me has been the exploration of the Kronos Expanse itself. I really wasn't expecting the joyous sense of exploration you get from uncovering new worlds and random events.

I'm a fan of the originals. This pretty much nails it. Manages to capture the same feeling as the others while also feeling modern. 10/10

Fun and challenging game. The difficulty curve took a little effort to get past but once you figure it out there's a lot of fun to be had here. =)

If you game, this is one of the best investments you will ever make. Unlimited replay value. Play any board / ccg game in existence.

Face value, this game does not look super interesting, but for some reason I can't stop playing it.

It's good, clean, mindless power fantasy fun.

Great metroidvania type game if you're into that genre. Story is legit too. Look, feel, mechanics....everything is super tight. I literally don't have a single bad thing to say about this game.

Beautiful game. Every quest is a delightful, hand crafted, cyberpunk experience.

It didn't meet all of my hopes and dreams for a Cyberpunk game but it is still wildly better than what I thought was possible.

I'll start by saying that there is a lot to like in this game. Conceptually, Outward is fantastic. The one sentence blurb I'd use to describe it would sound like this.

"Outward is an open world survival rpg that combines the exploration and wonder of a game like Skyrim with the combat of a game like Dark Souls."

I really wanted to like this game. Unfortunately, there is not enough here to recommend it for full price, and even though I bought it on sale, I can't convince myself to keep playing it because it keeps coming up short.

It's an open world RPG but that world is sparsely populated and lacking life. It has survival mechanics, consumables, and crafting but this is more annoying than rewarding at times. It has a Dark Souls type combat and equipment system, but the enemies you fight are one dimensional and unbalanced.

This game could be amazing, but it's not. Maybe one day it will be. Until then, I'd save your money.
