I've been playing CS:GO for years and I can still recommend it. There are competitive and casual elements of the game for all kinds of players. Experience helps and goes a long way, but I notice that a lot of people want to help each other grow. The market for CS:GO is still expanding even this many years later and shows how active and invested this community is. You will run into the occasional toxic enemies (even sometimes teammates) but not nearly as prevalent as it once was. Hackers are seen every once in a while (try to avoid Dust II and Office), but overwatch cases will usually knack them quick. I think CS:GO is still a great game to play with friends. I would recommend it.

If you like sandwiches and people showing up announced to your party you will adore this game

I've already accepted that I am a pathetic degenerate, but this game is genuinely fun, addicting, and has some great visuals. ;)
Would absolutely recommend if you mind throwing away some self-esteem!

For a survival horror game, it's pretty fun. It is a fun concept that doesn't really get boring or too repetitive, but it suffers from quite a few things. The community is so divisive and toxic. You will never win. "The killer is OP." "The survivors are OP." No getting around that ever. You will also tend to run into very meta builds on both sides resulting in very sweaty/tryhard games. It seems very few people tend to play for fun anymore. Overall, I do recommend playing...if you have a group of buddies to accompany you.

Been playing for a while now and can totally recommend. Funny to watch my friends struggle with easy levels when I can full combo Expert+ without breaking a sweat
