Alright then, the whole drama around the game being unplayable has not really been resolved by the devs, but a lot of people on the RoS discord (me included) fixed their game by changing their system language and text formatting to japanese (for some seriously eldritch and obscure reason).

The game is really fun and stylish. The combat system is on the simpler side of things but with enough nuance to make it interesting.

The game has some performance issues, my pc exceeds the recommended specs yet i can't play smoothly on quality mode in 1080p. But i have to say even on balanced settings the game doesn't look half bad with the snappy animations and greath character models.

So far the story mode was just what you'd expect from an anime fighter game, by that i mean a cut down story of Bleach. While i enjoyed the fights with humanoid enemies in Souls Society the hollow fights in chapter one were unbearably boring and annoying. Cutscenes are uhhhhhh... nothing to talk about, stiff, in some moments bordering on static.

Haven't gotten into online too much but i don't recommend searching for people to play with free match, it took way too long to find anyone and i decided to give up so either go to room search or find someone to play on discord.

I will add and/or edit this review as i get deeper into the game.

As for my final thoughts at the moment, despite the games major issues i'm enjoying myself so far, but if you're concidering buying this game and are willing to do some obscure fixes in an effort to get the game to work, go ahead, it's a solid fighter and a well deserved sweet treat for long time Bleach fans like myself. If you are not, i'd honestly hold off until they release some kind of solid patch to fix the game for everyone.
