Mark of the Ninja is a gem within the stealth genre. It rewards you for taking your time, planning out your next move(s), and executing it in style. This was one of the rare instances where the addictive gameplay completely detracted me from the story (in a good way).

A few things to expect from MotN:

- An art style that stays true to the Shank series while adding its own flavor (thanks to Klei Entertainment).

- A multitude of ways to complete the given objectives/puzzles.

- An arsenal worth experimenting with to complete said objectives in several fascinating ways.

5/5

Bastion is a masterpiece that combines expert narration with simple yet beautiful envronmental design. The game lets you play at your own pace while providing truly challenging scenarios with the ability to invoke Shrine Idols in order to exponentially increase difficulty. I highly recommend this to anyone who likes games that focus on quality and substance. It was truly worth replaying and completing in 2013.

Every choice I made in this game was a tough one. I've never played this kind of game before and it was certainly a nice change of pace. If you like games wherein each decision counts, then this is your kind of game. It's like reading a book that may bite you in the ass.

Awesome game that takes the player on a historical rollercoaster on the evolution of RPGs. Experience Zelda, Final Fantasy, and Diablo in this cool concept! Unlock each evolution through chests and battle monsters in 3 distinct styles. It is nostalgia at it's best and definitely worth the money. The game itself even has a sense of humor!

Masterful storyline and beautiful presentation. I found myself glued to the screen throughout 2 playthroughs of this game (once on Hard and once on 1999). It also has an amazing lineup of music as to be expected of the Bioshock series.

I wasn't too thrilled with the Clash in the Clouds DLC though. Although it was challenging, it wasn't the selling point of the series. Though to be fair, stuff like this will always need a starting point.

As far as Burial in the Sea - Part 1 goes. The nostalgia factor is definitely there. The story was too short even for a multi-part DLC and it does not warrant the price tag. You are better off buying the season pass. Despite the shortness in content, I can't argue that it is extremely well-made. From the fine details in rapture to the alternate timeline, you are definitely getting top quality from Bioshock Infinite.

Just keep in mind that the quantity sometimes may have to keep up with that quality for a more lasting impression.

My suggestion? Wait for a sale on the base game then go get the season pass

Simple at first glance, the game actually has a lot to offer. 100% completion requires a lot of exploration/dungeon-crawling and the game provides excellent replay value in the form of True Cards (a means to unlock a character permanently before their triggered event). It is a must have for those who support fine indie titles that bring back the player to a conventional rpg with a slight capitalist twist!
