This game is absolutely amazing. I have played through this with my friend and we are working on the dlc's. we have beaten 2 of them and are working on finishing them before we move onto vault hunter mode. Even on low settings the game is still absolutely beautiful and the myriad of weapons makes the game endlessly replayable and fun. If you have any hesitations about whether or not to get this game, throw them out immediately and get it. You will with almost no doubt love it just like I and most people who play it do. This is one of my favorite games of all time, with a great story line, great characters, perfect to play as many times as you want. In my mind, this game is up there with others like Bioshock Infinite. Yes I am very serious. The game is that much fun.
