TL;DR: This is an amazing game! Funny, simple, beautiful. You should definitely give it a try.

There are a lof of people that say LEGO game are designed for kids. That may be true, but that's exatcly why they are so fun to play as an adult (I'm 23, and enjoyed this game a lot).

This is my first review, so I hope I don’t ramble too much.

Controls
I do recommend playing this game using a controller, it’s designed for being played that way. Using the keyboard just feels weird.

Some controls are a little tricky at first, but you get used to it quickly. The only thing I found annoying is that the ‘Change Character’ button is the same as the ‘Transform’ button. The bright side is that this is completely customizable (for keyboard and controller).

Characters
The character selection is amazing! There are about 110-115 characters. They are very well voiced, they have personalities that do feel right for each one, and got extremely funny lines.

Gameplay & Story

The gameplay is like every LEGO game: Destroy stuff, solve puzzles using character’s abilities, collect studs, and collect bricks. Some puzzles get a little repetitive and the first missions are a little boring; but as soon as you unlock the Free Play mode (around mission 5), the true fun begins!

I do recommend finishing the Story Mode before getting into the Free Play, that way you’ll have lots of characters and missions unlocked.

As I said, the game has a slow beginning, but soon you’ll have lots of charactes and vehicles to fool around in New York City. As soon as you begin to play the Free Play mode, you can do lots of side missions, races, and Deadpool missions to collect all character & vehicle tokens, the gold bricks, red bricks, and save Stan Lee a million times.

This game is simple, fun, entertaining, crazy, unpredictable and the graphics are beautiful. You can easily go a whole day playing LEGO Marvel Superheroes and you won’t regret it.
