Excellent Vampire Survivor-like with an old-school Diablo feel. Love it!

Short but sweet. Good characters, fun core game play. It ends at what feels like... the start of act 2? So it's kind of unexpectedly short. Also you have to go back and grind through the dungeons a bit if you want to experience all the character stories. Still, they're good - I just wish there was, like, one more dungeon?

Feels like there's meat here for a bigger / longer game. Will keep an eye out for more!

This is another great CYOA-style game set in the World of Darkness. If you've liked previous games like this, you'll like this one. It reminds me of the short story A Sheep Among Wolves from the audiobook Vampire: The Masquerade: Walk Among Us (which is also great, check it out).

Is it as "Vampire: The Masquerade" as "Night Road"? I think so; it's just a story from the point of view of a mortal instead of one of the Kindred (which the description makes perfectly clear),

There's a lot of choices to be made, different character builds are viable, and there at least 11 endings. I've enjoyed it, I think it's worth your time and money.

It's basically the intersection of Factorio and Satisfactory, blown out across an entire universe.

Pros:
* ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ huge
* Liking the base mechanics so far

Cons:
* No external pressure (though the devs have said they're coming)
* Planets seem real small

Not sure if I'm going to wind up sinking 400+ hours into this like I have Factorio, but it's looking likely.

Edit: I've "completed" the main quest after 67.5 hours, and I gotta say this game is the real deal. There's a couple rough edges still (really need Blueprints or the ability to otherwise bulk copy/paste), but the devs are active and very responsive. The galaxy map is also a little rough to use; finding the right star in the night sky is tough.

If you like Factorio, Satisfactory, or other factory building games, definitely give this one a look. It's a great deal on a very fun game.

Vampire: The Masquerade — Night Road is *probably* the best VtM game I've played. Yes, including Bloodlines.

Yes, it's a text-based CYO.
No, there isn't a soundtrack.

What you get is pure, distilled, choice-and-consequence game play. Build the character you want. Make the choices you want. See what happens in the story.

Basically every choice has an impact. There are good endings, there are bad endings, there's everything in between. And I feel like it really gets the tone and concept of VtM - it's not a hack-and-slash combat fest. Yes, there's combat, but the goal is to be thoughtful and clever before, during, and after combat - and that you're better off avoiding it most of the time.

Anyway, this game is fantastic and easily worth the price.

First game: got 80% of the stat challenges wrong, had a shot that redacted my name, accidentally discovered a Bagel Dungeon. Rewarded with washing Aaravi's back. 12/10 will play again.

It's Early Access. It's a hot mess.

The plot is great, but hooootdog does the combat need a lot of work.

An easily approachable mafia/werewolf-style game with a cute, distinctive art style. When the Imposters murder you during a long, quiet round, the sudden noise and violence is startlingly shocking. The deductive "Whodunit?" gameplay is satisfying. Playing as an Imposter is both stressful and thrilling.

Very recommended.

Brainslug is very cute. It sits there and looks sad when you're dead. Adorable and heartbreaking, would pick up and place on head again. It is cold down there on the floor.

You know how in Rock Band a difficult song on drums will get you tired out? This is like that. In VR. And you move around dodging walls of light.

In an hour I got through all of Normal, and stumbled once on Hard. Haven't beaten an Expert song yet (controllers ran out of charge), but if the first song is any indication it'll take some practice. I'm not 100% sure how much I'll play it - the song selection is limited right now, and it only comes in one style ("sorta techno") - but if I even get three or four hours out of it, I'll consider it money well spent.

If you're looking for VR exercise, my FitBit auto-recognized it as Aerobic Workout with a calorie per mintue burn about the same as ... mowing the lawn, according to my most recent exercises. But it's a heck of a lot more fun (if not less sweaty).
