Too many server stability issues to be worth playing. This isn't just inconvenient, it is game breaking due to the way codexes (maps) and bosses work at end game, where a single disconnect represents a massive loss in time or gold investment. Disconnecting due to server stability alone is frequent, but it is also guaranteed to happen when juicing codexes beyond a certain level. The game would be worth playing if disconnecting at least did not delete your entire investment, but the servers simply cannot handle the product they are selling currently.

TLDR if you are thinking of getting this game to play in a Blood Pact with friends, don't. The product does not function as advertised due to servers, and you will waste your time and money.

This game has a gacha p2w pet system that greatly impacts the amount of loot you get and viable farming strategies. A player who has spent ~500 dollars to max the current season pet will be receiving up to 75% loot then you will as a normal battlepass player, from the new season mechanic. These p2w pets also greatly affect your clear speed, allowing you to push higher content faster. This issue has gotten significantly worse as the game has progressed through seasons, to the point where it is now where you can no longer just ignore their existence and impact on your gameplay.

game good, active developer with good replayability. you can turn off the crt ♥♥♥♥ and make the game look normal.

very mid game. Inconsistent density, aggressively unfun boss design and horribly boring endgame (just rush the end of the map and ignore everything). Game feels like it's been the same for 2+ years, just play torchlight infinite instead.

Came back after quitting to this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ p2w game after months of waiting to see if it wasn't a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ p2w game anymore. Turns out, it still is, big surprise there.

It has no end game content, all power is locked behind limited collab units with terrible gacha rates and no pity system. 150$+ paid limited time weapons are significantly better then any f2p options. Theres at most 1-3 multiplayer lobbies at any given time. The top of the arena is a completely stale meta consisting of limited time collab units/arks from 1+ year ago that blow your ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ open. No point in playing a game that has no end game content or goals to work towards, and brick walls arena ladder pushing.
