This is a great idler game! Perfect for having in the background while I work from home!
I am still figuring things out, but I definitely can see myself sinking a lot of time into this!

Okay I'm having an absolute blast with this game! I've had it on my wish list foreverrrr, and was nervous to purchase due to some of the reviews. I ended up getting this game in a Fanatical bundle, and I am SO happy I did. I definitely would be willing to pay the full price for this.

This game scratches the "explore, loot, craft, farm, fish & mine" itch that I always have. I am not huge on relationship building in games like this but this system is pretty fun!! There is always something to do. Always a goal.

I did notice that when I rent the animal (can't think of the name) from the ranch for the day to ride, it doesn't show up when I summon it. not sure if it's a bug or if I'm doing something wrong...But other than that I haven't noticed any crazy issues! There are a few holes in the map, one near the ranch where you can walk into the boulder area (looks like it'd be a secret entrance), but it's actually just a hole and you can end up walking under the map.


Overall 8/10 experience so far, and I'm definitely going to continue playing!

This is probably THE best idle game I've ever played on PC...and I play a lot.

Nothing better than a good fishing game!

I absolutely LOVE this game.
This is literally the perfect game for me.
I love games where you can find an abundance of loot...Craft, fish, farm, adventure, puzzles, quests.
A lot of times the games I play that have those elements also have a robust relationship system that I completely ignore because I do NOT care about befriending virtual people or romancing them lol.

So...If you DO care about the relationship aspect of games like this, then you will probably not enjoy.
BUT If you love taking your own time, and doing all of the crafting, farming, fishing, treasure hunting, temple exploration, exploring, LOOOOT (so much loot), you will find yourself getting lost in time with this game!

I am absolutely loving this game! Coming from someone who plays every farm sim I can get my hands on, and almost ALWAYS ignoring the relationship aspect of the games, that is not the case with this one.
Each NPC has actual depth to their character. The dialogue does not repeat with a bunch of randomized sayings. I find myself looking forward to walking up to them to hear what they have to say.

Positives::
+Cute pixel art
+Great soundtrack
+Characters have depth
+Controls/ animations feel fluid and not clunky or awkward at all
+A very generous amount of collectibles (for an EA game)
+GREAT customization for your home & character
+Overall EXTREMELY fun

Negatives::
-Lack of time. The days feel way too short for trying to accomplish more than one goal per day. I find myself having to choose between going to the mines, or one or two spots to fish before it's almost time to pass out.
--I feel like adding fast travel points would be very beneficial, or at least the ability to choose how fast you want your days to pass.
--Minor issues with the mines. Sometimes I get stuck there due to landing on a platform and unable to jump back because a monster shows up and WILL NOT MOVE. The "unstuck" function does not work for this issue. Tread carefully in the mines until we have a way to reset our position.
--One issue with completing a quest. At one point Celine asked for a silver sword, so I crafted her one (while I already had one in my inventory with an infusion on it..) and when I went to complete the quest it did not give me the opportunity to CHOOSE which silver sword to give her, so it automatically gave her my beefed up one, and I ended up having to restart the day so I wouldn't lose my fancy sword. So maybe after the "Turn in Quest" button is clicked, give us the opportunity to open the inventory to manually select which items to give to ensure we don't accidentally gift a special version of the item we are trying to gift if we have multiples.

As you can see I've played the game for 36 hours so far and am having an absolute BLAST. My game has not frozen/ crashed once. Apart from the minor issues I've listed above, this is a SUPER solid Early Access game, and I cannot recommend trying it enough and supporting the devs!

I only have a bit more than 1.5 hours in, but I am enjoying my time!!

From reading a lot of other reviews, I would only slightly agree with the weird controls. It's awkward trying to aim/ use the shovel sometimes, but I have played a LOT of games like this, and it is not a deal breaker for me.

I have run into two bugs so far, but the game literally just came out in EA today. The Devs are looking to us to give them feedback so they can fix these things. I do not believe bugs should warrant a "not recommended" review on day one of EA. Now if this was months down the road and bugs not addressed, sure, maybe then. But give them some time!
(I did not experience anything game breaking at this time) just one UI bug where after adopting the cat, the UI with the top and bottom bars got stuck on the screen, and one other bug where I went to buy the shovel for a quest, but it counted buying the shovel as me buying the metal axe for another quest)

I find myself enjoying the art style! The music and ability to change the music type on your phone is a nice touch! Very relaxing and not the same continuous loop like other games.

I love games where you can craft, forage, fish, catch bugs.
I LOVE games where they give you trackers/ milestones to achieve like the stamps in AC/ very similar here.

Overall, I would recommend trying this out. It's less than $15 and has a lot more heart than a lot of AAA games coming out these days.

I started playing this game on my phone. I became so addicted so quickly, and was THRILLED when I saw that it's available on steam!
The cloud save is soooo convenient. Being able to have my progress saved across my phone & computer is A1 lol.

One of my favorite idle games I've ever played.
I love the sense of purpose. there is always something to work towards, whether it be one of the goals in the list, the quests, or the ascension unlocks. This game will 100% leave you coming back for more.

An absolute gem!

This game has sooo much to do. I absolutely love cleaning up the ocean!
I don't get why people call this a Stardew clone... It's the same genre of game, but I don't recall diving in the sea and cleaning up the ocean in Stardew!

Farming is so fun. So many different things you can unlock to help automate your farm.
Ranching is great fun too! The animals are adorable! I also enjoy that you have to work your way up your town rank to unlock more.
Mining : great times. The enemies need to chill though.
Bug Hunting: Can be frustrating with a basic net, but overall a great time! A little buggy at times. (pardon the pun)
Fishing: I see others complain about the fishing mechanic, but I actually really enjoy it. It's not super easy that it's boring, but it's not too complicated to be frustrating.
Foraging. I absolutely love going around collecting the random stuff each season has to offer!

NPC;s/ dateables: There are SO MANY PEOPLE to talk to and befriend . It is kind of overwhelming at first, and I hope more dialogue becomes available in the future, because characters repeat themselves somewhat often. But it's great that when the seasons change, their outfits change as well!

Cons:
Okay I get it, a lot of farming sims do not have a manual save feature. But MAN. This game sure does enjoy crashing sometimes right at the end of a long day of being productive, and poof, progress gone. Please, if there is any way to add some sort of manual save, or even auto save feature after every hour or so to help combat these crash issues.

+ Beautiful world
+ Feels good. Controls are not strange like some of the reviews are stating.
+ LOTS to do. Mining, fishing, logging, farming, foraging,crafting & decorating.
+ The animals are absolutely ADORABLE. I love how you can use charms to breed them and change their color, and the more rare the animal, the more they are worth.
+ I personally enjoy the fact that the NPC's are not super in depth like in other farm sims, as I don't play these types of games to have a relationship simulator. However, I can agree with other reviews that for some, this would be a turn off. Repeated dialogue, or just overall not interesting conversation. The dates are not even very immersive.

Negatives (Personal opinion)
- The days feel WAY too short for how much there is to do. I would love if we could have a slider like in other farm sims to make the days longer or shorter. I am constantly feeling like I have to rush in the mines .
- Bugs. I have experienced a few UI bugs, as well as a super frustrating bug that is not allowing me to complete a quest for shipping items.

Overall, this is a very pleasant experience that I highly enjoy. For the $40 price though, I feel it could definitely be improved. A lot of other games in this genre are way cheaper and offer the same amount of content if not more.
