I’m disappointed to say, I can’t recommend purchasing this game. Everyone seems to be rating it positive, and overlooking all the issues that really lie inside. (Like excusing Britney Spears craziness for her looks).

Im a huge “The Forest” fan, and was genuinely let down that we where given this half polished, poor storytelling project.

Upon trying to even make a start in the game, I was greeted with problem after problem and I won’t be trying to play again until there is some sort of major update fixing these issues:

*Game not starting after clicking start
*Player not being able to do ANYTHING and having to quit and lose progress.
*Major Sound Adjustments and so that players can simply turn down “main menu music” and not all ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ music. Like why is it so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ loud?! This was the start of all the triggering lol. It’s not hard to pay audio engineers to level everything out nicely. Some sounds would be stupid loud and others too quite… giving us players 3 volume settings to adjust. Nice.
*Game spoon feeds players, revealing all cave locations, removing that satisfaction you get from finding them hidden away.
*Food doesn’t need cooking and water doesn’t need boiling. Boring.
*terrible optimisation for PC gamers who have normal PC’s and not a $6000 setup. I was getting 40 frames in a forest area with everything on low and have a RTX2060 6G.

With AAA games these days coming out bug free, and being free to play… this just isn’t it for the $44 price tag. Yes… they probably have a smaller team and budget. But they had years to perfect this, and just slapped “early access” on the title. So that makes it all okay doesn’t it? No.

Hopefully the game runs smooth and is actually playable and transitioned into a more entertaining SURVIVAL game.

The new dlc is so sick, we spent 90 minutes fighting davey jones's ship which has god mode while crack sparrow 1v1'd the bossman up front. ♥♥♥♥ knows where he's gone now havn't got to next part yet but ♥♥♥♥ the game had me by the throat all night it was so immersive with the zooming in and out and out of sync voice dialog. Only reason i'd have to down vote is cos jonney deapthroat isnt the real voice actor for crack sparow. great buy.

This game from time to time, can ♥♥♥ piss me right off.
80% of the time i um unable to even get to the main menu, and even if i do i am stuck in a server waiting list for more then 30 mins.

The pre-launch trailers gave EVERYONE so much hype for a game that was supposed to be FREE.

The game has a large potential and dont get me wrong, i love shooting n*ggas in the facewith an AR.

But for now its a no from me.

i really enjoy this game garry, i have played over 1000 hours of this non-stop crazy as, action packed, funny ♥♥♥♥ game.

i really hope that the origanal version of rust wont be thrown, this by far is alot of fun having it being more classical and realistic.
I hate to say it but i kind of dislkike the Exp. Branch, (ATM) as it runs really high graphics for my ♥♥♥♥♥♥ Desktop and it take away the whole adventures of rust, i mean sure you can still wonder off in the distance looking for one of those 400-500 people on the server but that isnt the case. Rust is what i like to call simple, you press play choose a server and BAM, you have a rock. all this exp. crap is tooo confusing like caves, bear traps, fish traps, RPG?... its all to complex. i like rust how it is now, Original/Classical, Simple, and A ♥♥♥♥ ton of fun.

Please nobody take this in a offensive way to garry and his crew, this is my oppinion and i hope for what its worth i am a voice to be heard
