Early Access Review
I'm annoyed I'm this early, there's so much potential here; this game will be absolutely brilliant in a year or two, please keep at it!

2 hours of playtime and I still have literally no idea how to play the game. The tutorial is awful: imagine making a cake sculpture for the first time but you are only told the instructions at the start and you have to start from scratch every time you forget a step. I do not usually review so early on but, given Steam expects you to have formed an opinion within 2 hours to still be eligible for a refund, I felt that reviews should be held to the same standard. I have no idea if I will like the rest of the game because I don't have a clue what I was actually doing for the last two hours...
I will continue to play but the tutorial needs a massive overhaul. There is a steep learning curve; which many players will like, but not to this degree.

Edit: well, I came back in a few years and found it more enjoyable this time. Still not a great game but certainly not bad. It just feels like it's missing something.

Old review:

BUYER BEWARE: this game relies on Microsoft Media Foundation which is not distributed with Windows 10 N and KN editions. It is still playable but will regularly crash.

Simply unfinished.

-Regularly crashes. (I reached out to support but had no response)
-Quest reward dialog mismatches the actual reward(s).
-Awkward pauses in narration with a script that sounds like it was written by a 7 year old; much like the trailer.
-The grind isn't fun and the items are ridiculously unbalanced; it's all about getting enough money to randomly buy a new item and seeing if that one actually helps you defeat a boss.
-There isn't much to do.
-I don't feel like I 'achieve' anything; you are just awarded random achievements every so often. They're nothing to strive for, they just happen.

Saying that, the game has potential. I wouldn't mind coming back to this in a couple of years to see how it's progressed.

Don't buy it at full price; I bought it when it was on discount and I had a voucher for it.

With no developers and a broken, boring, novelty-wears-off-after-10-minutes game who could possibly want to recommend this?

There have been no updates for a looooooong time, and to be completely honest with you I only racked up 34 hours from leaving it running overnight a couple of times.

Don't buy it unless they've made an update announcement - rewarding them money for this 'game' is like taking your kid to disney land for smearing ♥♥♥♥ around the house.
