Honestly has a bit for everyone and, you can fish, I like the fishey

Lotta mods that add more content and mechanics to the game, always a very good bonus.

The DLC, apart from the bugs, its pretty great.

The new stages are some of the best overral, absolutely beautiful and well designed with verticality in mind, the new survivors (besides the secret one I havent tried) feel just in line with the default ones and they have great kits, the items, for the majority, I find a good addition to the game (not looking at you knock back white item) and there's some that are just meh, but that is how balancing works, I wish there was more creatures included in the dlc but the ones that we got are fine, the new final boss sometimes appears a bit clunky but overral I really like it, and although I know it wasn't a theme for the previous bosses, but I wish they had added voice lines with the dude from the trailer, the music is a banger as per usual

DLC wise, this is a pretty great one, comparing it ot SOTV, I feel like this one falls just a bit short of the expectations I had after SOTV, SOTV had a worse final boss but included more in terms of moment to moment gameplay, a fair price for both DLC I'd say about 10$ each.

Now, bug wise, as with the last dlc, there's plenty, but the team dedicated to ror2 seem amazing and if there was any compromise on release date I'm sure it wasn't them, and as long as they iron it out within the next few months, I think this DLC is pretty nice.

The DLC is getting a lot of hate, due to bugs and content, but its mostly just echochamber of negativity, SOTV had a ton of bugs and people could not stop complaining like their family was dying, now it's the same + flaming gearbox saying the content feels half baked, which I don't honestly see, the quality feels on par as it ever was, people tend to forget plenty of SOTV was done by gearbox too.

Not saying it couldn't be better, but it could be a lot, lot worse, the "oh no gearbox ruined the game I knew they'd do it!" is extremely childish and acting on bias that has been festering since hopoo sold the franchise to them, when in reality, what we got delivered is (again, besides the bugs and hopefully repairable mod support) a pretty competent first try at a DLC from gearbox.

As for game breaking bugs, I haven't run into any in 15h of gameplay, mostly just immersion breaking/random bugs, not to say they don't exist, but I feel like people are making a way bigger deal out of it than it is.

As of 05/09/2024, most of the game breaking bugs and a plethora of others have been fixed, less than two weeks after the dlc was released, just like how it happened with SOTV, I for one, am happy with how gearbox adressed everything, and considering their work and care, I and I hope many others will be able to trust the new dev team as they seem to genuinely care about the game, proud of them, and I hope to see more changes and eventually more content!

Just get it, unless somewhat challeging games aren't your thing.

The atmosphere, the music, the character, the enemies/bosses, everything in this game is honestly outstanding, does it look old ? It's still beautiful

This is the kind of game that you only get to experience once, the same feeling when we all played Minecraft when young, there's the first feeling of playing Dark Souls 1 without knowing anything, it's that good.

I haven't played the game all too much and it is in early acess but I'd say It's a pretty good game.

The sprite work is amazing (besides the war god for some reason), the dialogue I gotta be honest, It's a bit of UwU cringe, the gods and characters feel like edgy 13 year olds (Besides Time) who ventured into tumblr and twitter for the first time instead of actual GODS and people which makes me wanna skip their dialogue everytime, maybe it's supposed to be a more playful kind of thing, but personally I don't think it works.

But, what matters most in a game is the gameplay, and it's pretty solid, combines a lot of the things that people like about other rpg's/roguelike's and survivor games and badabim badaboom, it just works and it's quite fun.

It's risk of rain 1 but better gameplay, better visuals, and revamped music.

Basically risk of rain 1, but to 2023 and hopoo's standards of today, get it

Extremely overshadowed by Age of Empires,
Age of Mythology is an extremely good, addicting strategy game with a super cool story mode, if you like mythology, I'd say get this instead of the old AoE.

One of the games that entertained me for many hours in my childhood.

I think zomboid is a really great game, but I do not recommend you play it on default settings to begin with as you will feel very overwhelmed with information and zombies trying to get you.

Zomboid is pretty good by itself, but as many cases with active modding communities, it goes above and beyond once you had a nice amount of them, it really adds to the experience, immersion and overral gameplay and fun/variety of everything you could ever want.

Nice fun with friends and I imagine the multiplayer is tense with PvP on so anyway you play the game, I think you'll have a good time.

Probably still one of the best shooting games there is around.
You shoot zombie, zombie reacts properly and when it die it has a bunch of animations it could do.

You shoot more zombie, you see zombie fall, I could see zombies fall like this for the rest of my life.

Have I talked about the zombie animations ?
