Best Armored Core and best Mech game ever. Simply love it! The hidden parts, extra endings, keep engaged to keep coming back.

Awesome futuristic game like WipEout. I own the game for a couple of years and keep going back to it.

While the controls feel a bit clunky by the today standard, the art direction, mood and storyline still hold up very well.

I have been a Mortal Kombat fan since I played the first game in the arcades, and MK11 is the newest and most polished Mortal Kombat game ever. If you loved any of the previous entries, you are going to love this one. The only downside of this game, if you are collector like me, it's virtually impossible to collect everything in this game (skins & gears). Some unlocks are just luck, others are locked behind towers of time which only appear once a few days / weeks and other require to be an insane high level on ranked leaderboards.

edit: a year after I wrote this review, I'm still playing this game. They really kept the community alive by releasing new skins, expansions and DLC. I hope they will continue to support it until they release MK12!

Don't except anything ground breaking. There is no innovative gameplay, no deep storyline, just high speed fragging. It's basicly Quake 3 with current generation graphics, plently of unlockables and cool characters / abilities. And for me, that's more than perfect ! If you loved Quake 3 or arena shooters in general, buy this game !

edit: even after a few years, this game still gets updates. No new champions, but plenty of new maps and skins.

Finished Dead Rising 1 to 3 multiple times. Bought Dead Rising 4 couple of days ago and I honestly can't understand the hate. The gameplay has been streamlined, for example you can't throw melee weapons anymore, which is a shame, but then again, I really enjoy switching between melee, firearms and throw weapons mid combo. The world is huge! They remade the large city from Dead Rising 3, but with a shopping mall like Dead Rising 1. The extra additions like exo-suit are simply awesome and fun. The camera is greatly improved, the nightvision and infrared are cleverly implemented.

The timer in the first two games, was a clever and unique mechanic. But it became tedious really fast, not to mention, annoying as hell when doing a new game+. The game has become less challenging, but it's still fun, which is the primary reason I play video games ..

So, to all people who haven't played DR4, please don't listen to all the hate and try the game for yourself. If the developers re-make the same game over and over, people would complain that it's lazy and boring. If developers change or evolve the game, people complain that it isn't the same game anymore ..

Even at this day and age, this game is must have ! Inspiring design, beautiful soundtrack and addictive and fun gameplay. It's a short game, but a game that I have beaten countless of times :)

Really solid and fun gameplay. The graphics are OK, considering this is a port of a 2009 Nintendo Wii game. But the humor is really low-brow. It's actually embarrassing painful to watch the cut-scenes. Which is a shame, the game could have been perfect, but the cut-scenes ruined the experience for me quite a bit.
