Was one of those people who lined up to pre-order/ buy Battlefield 3 when it first came out. I see alot of comparison between Battlefield 3 and Battlefield 2042 in the reviews and how EA and DICE let everyone down. So here's my feedback:

1. Back then Battlefield 3 used to run on my system at the lowest settings at more or less the same framerate as battlefield 2042 does now on my current system. Was really laggy, and had way more crashes during the game. Loading time was impossibly long, and you had to pray that the game will load once you connect.

- Although first 2 weeks was really laggy and bad on 2042, after a few updates to my graphics card Geforce, and game updates, it started working out fine.
- Interface defintely much better than previous game iterations, so dont get what the hate is all about. You used to have to go on a website to launch the game and customize your guns in Battlefield 3... which was retarded.

2. Guns/ Gameplay/ Classes

- Not a pro gamer or really good at the game but I enjoy shooting and capturing objectives with different classes. Although its a bit different from B3/ B4/ B1, I would say its still enjoyable as a whole. It doesnt feel like less guns, although I have to agree that certain parts of the map feels less destrutible and less dense as previous iterations.. hope they fix it in time to come.

3. Replayability.

- Of all the previous games this one has Battlefield Portal, and Hazard Zone. Its hard to find a game fast on Hazard, but Portal has many modes and games. And really enjoyable for a casual game after work.

- Laggy problems are completely nonexistent on any non-conquest 128 player matches, and u can basically play other modes and get smooth gameplay all the way. So thats a plus point for me until they fix the Conquest loading or whatever. I see myself enjoying this game for a long time.

My advice is to ignore the noise from critics and those giving mostly negative reviews. Get a trial of the game to test your hardware, and play if you enjoy it. I feel as tho alot of people enjoy the game, just that they be too busy playing the game to be criticizing it in the reviews. And the ppl giving bad reviews have a lot of graphics/ lag/ hardware related problems... so I would recommend Geforce graphics cards, as they have a software to auto-optimize/ update everything.. anyway, just my opinion. See you No-pats,

Early Access Review
Super good game if you are a fan of Terraria, side scroller RPGs, and Skyrim-ish open world game.

Picture spaceships, planets, full minecraft-style customization, tons of items and updates, a huge variance of unique aliens.
Now picture it with Multiplayer.

BUY IT! Nuff said
