Early Access Review
Lets give this a run down.

- Long rewarding craft grind, to build base.
- Amazing mob combat and boss combat.
- Great skills sets, 'class' system and different roles
- Great building abilities
- Great RP opportunities
- Content for an early access game
- Price (At the moment)
- Player hosting and Server creation

- Server performance can be questionable
- High PC performance requirements
- Small character creation options
- Highly addictive
- Small server cap for dedicated servers

Honestly I only have positive things to say about this game, I hope that Stunlock Studios continues to build upon this great foundation in hopes that this game over takes Albion Online etc.

Sitting on over 150+ Hours here, having completed the main story on 2 Characters, the Nomad, and Corpo.

Please lets not be 'fooled' by the salt that people have expressed due to themselves being 'over-hyped'
But this is will be a fair and brutally honest review of the game as it stands now. Lets get a few things straight before you decide to purchase or play the game. A next-gen game requires next-gen hardware, plain and simple. If you want the 'best' experience I'd recommend anything above 1080ti and i7 (I'd recommend raytracing as well) Also further and foremost, which cannot be stressed enough, this isn't GTA, this isn't a focused 'Shooter RPG' its first and foremost an RGP with shooting elements etc.

• Customer Creation; It's fairly simple. It's tried to get some woke points in there for people that brought up politics into games. Like what others have said the only time you are going to see yourself is if your riding bikes, using the photo-mode. And if you care what your fingers nails look like and if you want tattoo's.

• Player Choice; I've seen a lot of people say that V doesn't have much choice which I find confusing. V has a lot of dialog changes and differences from what I've seen playing all 3 life paths. But player choice mainly comes through how you complete quests and explore. Many times if you've hacked/accessed a computer and looked at the files or emails, you'll get a different ending, if you've gone in balls blazing or stealth it's the same, killed someone or haven't yet again another ending. Your actions do effect the way some NPC view you and act towards you. So there is plenty of 'options'

• Combat; I was surprised at the gun play, I wasn't expecting much, but I've found it the most enjoyable, especially if you're playing on 'very hard' I feel like I've got to be focused and make sure that use the right skills at the right time. There is nothing more I hate then sneaking around AI paths and doing nothing. In this you can kill through cameras, hack turrets and use them, distract, blow something up, wipe memories etc etc. Very underrated if your playing it on 'normal'
Blunt weapons, blades, knives and hand combat is pretty lackluster. Fun to chop people into bits, pretty poor in feel. You'll see what I mean.

• Driving; All cars sound lovely and awesome, and looks great, some of the best looking cars I've seen in a game but if you want to know what they feel like to drive then please revisit PS1 Driver.

• Story; If you like lore, or reading then you'll be very happy, there are so many shards and lore bits and bobs you'll be in heaven. The 'main' story isn't that long but it's created very well between yourself and Johnny Silverhand, including all the other characters on the way. Not only is the main story for filling the side stories are great. I'd recommend not blasting through the main story, but take your time in doing most, if not all the side quests and missions.

• AI and world; Night City is beautiful, the detail is amazing, and I haven't gotten bored of exploring and find small and interesting differences. It's pretty impressive whats been done. I will have to say that the AI is very basic, that being the standard people that walk / drive about in Night city, they are filler, like I've said it's not GTA, it's not meant to be a simulation type of game. Its just meant to feel like your in a city which does hit it's mark.

• Bugs and Problems; I personally haven't come across anything that has annoyed me to the extent that I've got to complain about it. There are some rigging problems with standard / enemy NPC's such as T-poses. Items getting lost in other items, clipping issues and audio syncing issues. Apperence Issues such as clothes not changing, V just being nude etc. There is plenty for CDPR to fix.

TL;DR

- Amazing RPG w/ plenty of combat options and methods of completing quests (Poison Crit Throwing Knives OP)
- Beautiful Story missions and story characters w/ decent options and out comes.
- Fantastic visuals and voice acting (Male V is a monotone trumpet)
- Fun gun play and hacking, even the weird breach number and letter hacking.
- Music is banging (All hail Mike Pondsmith on Mono Rock)
- Thank god it's not another re-hash of the same game, or a GTA copy.

- Bad Feeling melee combat and driving
- Basic AI driving and standard AI walking/movement paths/interactions
- If you're not playing on very-hard you might as well just play on story-mode
- If you're using a console, sell that and save for a top-end PC (Or use GeForce Streaming Service)
- Basically has the same launch/start as witcher 3 with roach and other weird bugs and problems. That a lot of people have forgotten about.

Overall: 8/10 - Looking forward to seeing more hot fixes, and additional content in the future. For now I'll stick to using Sir John Phallustiff.

If you play with sound off, or not on max, you're wasting your time.

+ Great Graphics
+ Little and Unique stories for each scenario
+ Great mechanics with technology and heating
+ 3 Scenario's which makes you tackle all types of gameplay
+ Salty players that think it's short because they played it on easy once

- Lords stealing my ♥♥♥♥
- You'd think Robots would work better than humans
- Can survive a week without food
- Personally more edicts within the Order and Reglious Tree

Over-all: 8/8
Would be interesting if they would allow mods or personal-made scenario for more interesting mixes. Who knows.

Developers should be really proud of this Little game, I love city builders and this is perfect, great style and great design including a price that is afford for a work in progress - Really enjoying it.

A lot of people seem to dislike this game, which is understandable but isn't all that right.

Firstly it's a Ubi-release meaning that the mutliplayer isn't amazing and does have its issues,

I have played all of the single player and done 2 v 2's and 1 v 1's and had a lot of fun and enjoyed it,
it can be difficult and the learning curve on some of the skills can be high. And most people play with "Honor"

It has great graphics, game play and mechanics and is something different within the market. The story has a tiny plots which doesn't really go anywhere, so dont expect to much from it, it's basically trying to teach you all the different characters.

Do bare in mind that with it being a Ubi game I would recommend giving it time for it to mature, so the game can be balanced and fixed, as well as trash peer to peer servers.
