Simple but good with friends.

Great little game to play when you're bored.

Honestly, it's probably not worth the money.

But it's only early access which is what a lot of the reviews aren't acknowledging.

This game has great potential and people are expecting way too much from something which they are literally told is not even close to finished.

There are no games like this that are of a decent quality and I genuinely have high hopes for this game, it just needs more content and a few tweaks to the game's mechanics and then it's sorted.

Don't be a lemming and follow people saying "it crashes" (It hasn't for me) or "it's too repetitive" because that's what's to be expected at this point.

Graphics are amazing, really quite beautiful in a morbid way.

Gameplay is alright, though I didn't find it very scary after a bit as I felt it became very repetitive, resembling more of a walking simulator than a horror game. I got lost, couldn't find things I'm meant to be looking for and got really quite bored, especially when tasked with pushing along a little boat for what felt like years with very little action happening.

The story is downright awful. The ending is confusing and the multitude of subplots hinders any flow that could possibly be maintained.

The characters in these plots are poorly developed:
The leader of the "non-heretics" is given a name and that's about it,
The leader of the "heretics" a.k.a. fat ♥♥♥♥ who seems to be the one leading the whole religion thing, is only seen twice, Some weird ass toddler/man hybrid is shown but never explained, despite it's Frankenstein-like existence,
You're chased, occasionally, by monsters with huge tongues like a smoker in LFD, their existence is never explained.

The ending... my God, what even is it. So many things left unanswered (In a bad way). It felt like there was going to be more - it built up so much and yet so little happened.

Outlast 1 was incredible, Outlast 2, lacklustre. Not recommended.

Don't listen to half of these rubbish reviews regarding the trial and the privacy policy and whatnot. Check out the Hitman subreddit for real opinions.

*Spaceship runs out of fuel immediately*
*Uses cheats to get to the moon*

Absolutely amazing game, especially with friends. Without them, pretty meh, still good, but much better with them.

The constant talk of cheating and microtransactions in the reviews is ludicrous, in my time of playing, as well as many friends, none of us have ever come across a cheater.

The microtransactions are simply aesthetic and so I couldn't give less of a ♥♥♥♥, just like everyone else should. It is funding a tournament and so shouldn't be taken out of the original funds gained, that would be stupid to revoke some of that success for such a large scale event.

The constant updates and bug fixes are pleasing and the gameplay is amazingly fun.

For those who are getting a bluescreen every three seconds, remove any overclocking including automatic overclocking in the BIOS.

Overall, great game, couldn't be recommended any more.
