Abiotic Factor is a survival crafting game heavily inspired by the story, world & character designs of Half-Life 1. That part is obvious, but it has other inspirations sprinkled over it too such as SCP and Project Zomboid.

Anyway, if you want something that feels retro and has story progression akin to Half-Life 1 then you'll definitely enjoy this game. It's not a first-person shooter like Half-Life, but you'll likely enjoy it even as a survival game. I know I did!

Even if you finish it now, the developers still have a lot planned for the future. So there's plenty to look forward to as well!

HELLDIVERS 2 is an amazing game, hands down.

While Sony backtracked the forced PSN decision, the game still remains unavailable in over 170 countries. For this reason, my review will remain negative until Sony also fixes this issue they caused.

This game may be small and simple, but it's probably going to be one of the most fun 4-player horror experiences you'll play.

I still need time to cool off from the ending, but can I just say...
Holy. ♥♥♥♥. The story telling is beyond what I expected!

Sven Co-op is a Half-Life 1 mod that uses a modified GoldSrc engine. It's full of various features along with being able to play Half-Life 1 (+ expansions) with other players. This mod is a classic and it's worth playing with your friends.

Tower Unite is a virtual game world focused on being involved with the community. The game features various activities to do such as socialising with other players, playing minigolf, decorating your own condo and more. It's also important to note Tower Unite includes NO microtransactions either, all the currency you earn is earned through playing games or doing activities.

For me, Tower Unite has been a very enjoyable experience. Getting together with friends and socialising through this game has been an absolute blast! It's only just recently Tower Unite has also added in achievements and other cool things to keep the gameplay less stale too. If you're looking for something to play and chill with friends in, this game is definitely worth a try.

Garry's Mod is a sandbox game about building your own content. This type content can range from making maps, moving props, posing models, coding gamemodes and more! It's definitely a great classic sandbox game for those who like messing about with Source Engine's limits. It's always great fun with friends when you invite them on your server too.

To this day, it still manages to hold itself up for being made on a engine originally from 2004. Well, kind of... Though, it's looking like S&box may take Garry's Mod's place eventually.
