Well put together game that tackles the SWAT genre and real world situations pretty well. The only drawback for me is that there is no real sense of accomplishment after a while, the only "reward" after finishing a mission is either beating your previous time/time attack or beating your previous graded score.

Typical 2K PC/Current Gen game. Gameplay wise it's more enjoyable than previous titles but still janky and problematic (one simple spin move will send the ball flying 30 ft out of bounds then back to your hand, resulting in a turnover; currently there are random CTD instances). VC is even more predatory, and the MyTeam doesn't make much sense. Event cards aren't explained well, card grading/holographics don't do anything besides a very minor MT boost, and the choices for who gets a card is borderline mental. MyPlayer/Career is the same bland mess with horrible animation and quality control; constantly notice objects clipping and what not. If you play offline for MyPlayer or MyLeague/GM it's a decent experience; I'd stay away with any online PvP modes.

Another game I wish Steam had a neutral option for reviews, but I wouldn't recommend it unless it's on sale or you get the PGA bundle.

Really good game, although it's more of a visual novel with some management and choices to make. The replay-ability is very low since the game's story is very linear, but there are a few choices that will change the outcome of xyz, so it's up to the player to determine if it's worth another go through.

Very easy to binge play and finish the game, I completed the story in two sessions. While I would recommend to wait until it's on sale, I would say full price isn't a horrible option if you have any inkling of playing this game or want a Crusader Kings lite version.

Okay at best FPS that was left to die shortly after release. Even now that it's F2P I wouldn't recommend installing. They've apparently removed some key features of the game; MM, VOIP, every game mode but TDM and SnD (SnD is as barebones as it gets allegedly), ranks, ranked MM, the list goes on. I'd rather buy BF42 just for the ♥♥♥♥♥ and giggles than reinstall this garbage.

This is one of those games where a "neutral" review option would come in handy. It does what it needs to, SWAT type fps immersion, but other than that it is at best an okay game. Without friends, the game is essentially dead. The UI feels, at least to me, clunky and doesn't give you much information; it took me a while to realize you can customize your loadouts and save them outside of the prep screen before a round. It's gunplay is decent, but only allowing two utilities feels limiting.
If you want a cheaper version of Ready or Not then this is a good buy, but if you can afford RoN then just go for that instead.

Better than OW/2 imo. There's more going into the customization of this game than OW. You're able to play any one champion multiple different ways due to the cards/loadout feature and match items that enhance your abilities during said match.

The only true ♥♥♥♥ of this game are a) Hi-Rez funneling all their worthwhile efforts/money into Smite b) bugs that come and go with each update c) community tends to be somewhat toxic any given match. You could add the amount of champions as well, but even with new ones coming out every 2-3 months or so it keeps the game fresh and doesn't make any one champion completely useless.

Edit: As of writing this, I can no longer recommend this game, thus changing my review. I still think it's a one-of-a-kind game when it comes to the 5v5 "hero" type genre, but the state of the game just is not conducive to a fun gaming experience anymore. I might check out how it is in the future, but as of right now I've had it uninstalled for a couple months. I've loved my time with it but must move on.

Wouldn't even load franchise mode, just froze the entire game. Started with 5 different leagues, then 4, then 2, then 1, each time the entire game would freeze.

Don't even bother with Perfect Team. Just another money grab that is very poorly put together. Seemed to take half an hour to open all the starter packs they gave you.

I rarely write review but I feel compelled to write one for RD2 so here we go.

First and foremost, Red Dead Online has so much potential, and would easily take over GTA:O, but R* just doesn't care about anything that isn't GTA:O or $$$ (which doesn't make sense since this game could easily rake in money). Anywho, I digress, this game is a must buy if you love story games, open world, or rpg type. If you've ever played GTA, The Witcher, Dragon Age, etc. then this is a 100% cop. While, like most gaming experiences, the story gets off to a slow start, it'll inevitably captivate you, and if not the story then the atmosphere. The atmosphere that R* has created will leave you in awe. It feels like you're actually in the wilderness, the modern complexities of life wash away and it's just you, your horse, and the open frontier. Traversing the landscape becomes much more rewarding than GTA, the scenery, wildlife, AI interactions. It just feels more whole to me than GTA V did, plus with this games soundtrack, you'll end up ditching your PC and start to play the guitar at random campfires.

To organize my thoughts better and for those that don't like reading paragraphs:

Pros:

-Great atmosphere (landscape, wildlife, setting)
-Amazing, period setting soundtrack
-Attractable story and character personalities
-Boah
-If you've never played RD1, it doesn't matter much as this game is a prequel
-Gun play is entertaining, especially with dead eye. Your loadout is entirely preference based, even in Online to a degree. There isn't one clear gun everyone uses to ruin peoples day (arguably Carcano rifle) like the Oppressor, Deluxo, Fighter Jets in GTA
-The single player missions, whether main or side, leave you wanting to play them. It adds to the immersion of the game, as well as removing the tedious aspect of many other games' missions. You feel like you're contributing.
-Hunting/exploring is rewarding and fun. If you get burnt and want to just relax for a while, take yourself on a little hunting trip.

♥♥♥♥:

-Little to no new content ever to RD:O
-After the underwhelming story missions of online, there isn't much to do than the repetition of roles and stranger missions.
-Support is non-existent or just lazy (as for most R* titles)
-Require a beefier PC (will turn into a space heater for long sessions)
-Controls, especially on horseback, are interesting. Very much preference based (mnk vs controller). Not so much a ♥♥♥ as a little inconvenience to adapt to
-1900's items at a 21st century value in online. You'll be looking in the catalog and wonder why a hat is $300, a pistol $500, but ammo is 60c for 20 rounds.
-Most any ♥♥♥ is online related

I'll update this as I see fit, if i forget anything I want to add, but as of right now this is the best brief list I could create.

For the few matches I've played, I can say, this game has greatness in it's future. It's fun, fast paced, and from what I can tell, the community is one of the best I've seen in a while. Being tactical has never been soon fun. I'll definitely play this more than PUBG (eventually) and for sure Fortnite.

One of my favorite 2K's to day. I started playing 2K8 casually, got into 2K10 and continued from then on. The game seems more realistic and is smoother than past games, graphics are amazing even on lower settings, and the game modes are now more immersive and realistic.

Despite what people say, this game is not bad. There are microtransactions, yes, but I think it isn't an issue. I mainly play full games on MyLeague, and full games on MyCareer, so I get 1k+ VC per game. I think the fact that people are complaining that they can't make their MyPlayer or MyTeam to be 80+ overall in a few days is a result of being spoiled by doing so in the past. I think it's ludicrous that people are complaining that you can't do this. I think this makes the game more realistic and rewarding. Sure, people won't play more than 5 seasons on MyCareer max, but to start out as an All-Star rookie is stupid. This allows you to actually improve your player and become dedicated to that, otherwise if you want to take the cheap-not-so-cheap way to get to 80+ you need to pay, which helps fund 2K.

Actual gameplay wise, the game's only fault in my opinion is the ability to get steals. You get called for a reach more often than not, and if the ball runs into a player, the ball will either be glitched through the player or will be an immediate turnover. People complain that lay-ups are not realistic or you shoot a shot you never intended to, but that is all because they're inexperienced. If you actually paid attention to 2KTV or did some shoot around/tutorial you would know that the positioning of the shot sticks and movement sticks (if you use a controller, otherwise you're a looney for using the keyboard) matter a whole lot on influencing your shot.

TL;DR = Game is the best basketball game rn, ♥♥♥♥ are over exaggerated and produced by inexperienced players.
