Black Ops 6 is a grim reminder of what happens when profit overtakes passion. Once a symbol of fun and adrenaline-fueled gameplay, it’s now a buggy, crashing mess riddled with lifeless, AI-generated content. The heart and "creativity" that once defined this franchise have been replaced by blatant greed.

Instead of addressing the constant crashes and overwhelming issues, the focus remains on predatory microtransactions. It’s clear the people in charge prioritize profits over players or the franchise’s legacy. As a developer myself, I don’t blame the developers; I blame the way they’re managed and the misplaced priorities set by Activision | Treyarch. This disaster is a direct result of decisions made at the top.

Call of Duty was once more than a game; it was an icon of gaming culture. Black Ops 6 is the unfortunate proof of how far it has fallen. If this is the future of the franchise, it’s hard to imagine it surviving much longer.
