A great followup to Volume One. The unveiling of mysteries and inexplicable elements continues, as well as some surprising and intriguing exploration of themes only lightly touched on in the first game. The characterization remains top notch and I already can't wait for the continuation.

Really great character writing, with a central story that hooked me in. The setting is also very unique.

very addicting

It's not the easiest game to play, but I think that's the point - it requires a lot of patience, even right off the bat at the intro. But I also haven't been able to stop thinking about it, and it's an experience I can't say I've had with any other game, so if you don't mind a bit of (intentional) friction, you won't find another game like this.

Had a lot of fun with this. It takes a bit of time to get into it, but once you're rolling along with the puzzles and narrative, it really gets into a groove that lasts through to the end. Some genuinely tricky puzzles, and sometimes the backtracking was annoying, but overall never anything that felt unfair, and with how contained the game was, none of the mechanics overstayed their welcome.

Visuals and sound were A++ and super unique... there isn't really another game with the kind of look this one has, and that alone made it worth the asking price for me. Some of the environments in this are really spectacular and one-of-a-kind.

The story of the main character was hit or miss for me, which I think was due to the voice acting and writing quality being inconsistent at times. Where it did do well though as in the game-within-a-game dialogue, which always made me smile because of how over-the-top sci-fi genre it was, as well as parts of the story that go into semi-horror territory - those parts gave me goosebumps and I wouldn't mind seeing the devs explore that in future games.

Interesting concept for a narrative game, really nailed the feel of being in a small museum, and the story as you uncovered it was engaging

I'm still early in the game but I've already played a few puzzles that made this game worth every cent, they were so mindblowingly brilliant.

I'm not great at puzzle games by any means, but I think this game does a great job of easing you into its way of thinking, and combined with its relatively limited set of actions (at least at first), it feels way different to me than what I would consider straight up just brutal puzzle games.

Put it this way: each puzzle contributes its own small chunk of understanding how the mechanics of the game work, bit by bit, while still offering a notable challenge every time. I can get how many would be put off by the first few puzzles, but after that initial hurdle (maybe solving some of the 1 sausage puzzles first) you start to gain some confidence and then are on your way to being a sausage grilling champ.

All the above plus the super charming presentation, and this is already a game I'd recommend to anyone who enjoys puzzles or brain teasers.
