We ran into a sloop that seemed as though they just arrived to the server. We had already made well over 150,000 gold and we were ready to get off. Instead, we fought 2v2 in an epic sloop royale, more than 200 shots distributed betwixt us. More than 2 solid hours of fighting over absolutely no loot whatsoever. We nearly lost our ship twice only to run out of cannonballs and kegs. Despite losing in the end, in our hearts we won. Primarily because we took what was more precious than gold, those poor sailors' time.

In a game where piracy is primary, you cry when you get pirated and rejoice when you pirate someone else's hard earned loot. In this case; we made them earn their stay on the server. This is what separates Sea of Thieves from any other game I have played. 10/10!
