Loved the crunchy sfx, the tactile feel of the weapons, the headshots, the gibs, and the sweet satisfaction of blowing up a crowd of enemies with a well-placed TNT throw. I was surprised to find out in the credits that this was all created by a single person. Nit: the music always felt out of place and I turned down the music volume a couple hours into the game.

I like Binding of Isaac. I like Downwell. I like Cave shmups. I like nostalgia. I like Monolith.

Edit: after playing a bit more, this game also reminds me of Atomic Robo Kid.
