Played the old beta version of this game, enjoyed it heavily. This new version completely changed, however, and the new mechanics just aren't for me.
If you have a lot of friends to play with it might be fun, but otherwise it's not a good purchase. I refunded.

Kenshi was definitely a game I looked forward to buying, and when I finally bought it, it was completely different than what I expected. I had thought this was a 3rd-Person RPG/Hack-and-Slash and what I got instead was a complete masterpiece. Sure, it may not have the easiest controls or learning curve, but when you finally get somewhere interesting in the game, it becomes amazing. You could be the leader of a village that only wears rags and hats, or go from poor wanderer to heroic paladin. This game has endless possibilities, and wherever you come from in gaming, it will be sure to entertain.

In short, MOST DEFINITELY RECOMMEND.

Edit: Wow, I posted this 3 years ago. In that time I rarely played this, but I've recently started again and it wows me just the same. Additionally, the workshop features in this have added a completely new dimension to the game.

Very nice, very open world. Instead of going to Riverwood in the beginning, I decided to go to the giant temple next to it, and got very OP stuff for the beginning of the game.

Would recommend this game, but the controls and aiming are a bit iffy. For example, the slow-motion was well implemented, but too much movement is available.

Very nice game. I play it excessively.
