I absolutely love Dishonored but I don't like this DLC. The missions are frustrating and time consuming rather than challenging and enjoyable.

It's like banging your head against a wall until the wall eventually breaks. Rather than feeling like you've achieved something, you are only relieved about the fact the pain has finally subsided. I feel like you have to be a true masochist to enjoy a lot of the DLC. Perhaps that's the point, and I would maybe acknowledge that but the achievements make everything so much worse.

Headhunter requires you to complete Assassin's Run getting only headshots. This took me well over 100 tries and the main problem I had is that all the animations that the whalers do are the worst for scoring headshots. For example, when they're leaning looking over their desks and you want to headshot them from the side you'll quickly find their head hitboxes are elsewhere so you have to learn exactly when is a safe moment to shoot regardless of where you see their actual head. Once you've figured this out, you then have to grapple with their wristbow animations. If you choose to fire your crossy at their head just as they decide to fire at you, their head will snap out of the way and you have failed the achievement. Rinse repeat x100

Bend Time Massacre has similar issues. The guards are able to withstand massive impacts and items like the sticky bomb are unpredictable. Campbell fell down with a sticky bomb attached in a group of 6 people all close around him but the explosion bugged causing only him to die resulting in me failing the achievement. When this happens after you got the last 10 minutes of the challenge right it really does lead to dangerous blood pressure levels.

The worst part is once you've battled your way through all 10 challenges you then have to do them all over again in order to actually complete the DLC. In Dishonored the opportunity to replay it should be an exciting prospect, but for this DLC, just nope.

If you enjoy unsafe levels of stress and hatred then go for it, otherwise I recommend sticking to the actual stories.
