This sequel is like a TV remake of a hit movie. The names are the same, and everything looks vaguely similar, but the writing is rubbish and the while thing is utterly soulless. All the interesting elements of the original were left out of the recipe. Honestly quite glad it took me this long to realise there was a sequel - I don't feel like I've missed anything at all.

Yeah, nah, uninstalled. Zero region management means obscene pings for 9/10 games. Massively buggy even after launch. I was cautiously optimistic during the open beta but this is intolerable. A shame, I do love the Halo franchise. 343, you can do better.

Surprised myself to realise I'm glad there is such a strong culture of trolling in this game. Keeps an otherwise incredibly repetitive mafia game fresh.

A fair minefield of bugs, but if you don't take it too seriously, ARMA3 is easily the best extreme-scale first-person wargames currently out there.

Rubbish. Buggy as hell. Keyboard and mouse controls are the only viable option, but then you can't charge weapons? Got stuck in terrain in the first few minutes.
The saving grace with the spinoff Halo titles is the new lore they offer. But very little commitment to new lore here. A simulation of a battle I've already played through? Did I understand that intro correctly? Really?

The mouse and keyboard only mode is a hilarious game with huge potential, massively let down by bugs and terrible menu design. When it's this hard to just load a gun, to have it glitch out just when you're finally lining up a shot is game breaking.

And when there's at most 40 players in any one region (and really I mean in one single region), why on earth would you devide players into 8 different regions? Hard enough to find a game in the most populated ones.

Not recommended until menu is improved and bugs reduced. Stop adding content and fix your base game!

Very interesting gameplay mechanic. Slow, unskippable story elements are also uniquely presented, but boring as ♥♥♥♥. Just give me more of that that sweet sweet slomo.

Very interesting game, but somewhat poorly executed. The gun mechanics are brilliant, and as a technical demonstrator this is almost flawless; chiefest among flaws being the controlset, and the inability to change it. Fumbling for an obscure key while reloading is extremely frustrating.
Being a tech demo, the gameplay is terrible. It shows great promise, and I would like to see the investment made to make this a fully fledged title. Kickstarter, anyone?
Pay the five bucks. Take a look. Well worth it, even if you only play for ten minutes.
