Like many other I got this game as a pre-order special for Tropic 5. Since I love mafia games (Like Mafia, Mafia 2) and love Tropico I thought this would be a lot of fun. And indeed it was..... in the first 40mins. After about an hour, it got boring but I forced myself to play it even longer. After all, there was a small chance it would get better, but sadly, it didnt.
Dont get me wrong, it isnt a bad game, it just isnt a good game. The graphics, the voice acting and the basics of the game are amazing and that makes it even harder when you find out that the game literally through away all the possibility it had and ended up like that.
You have basic base building with decoration. Your people can steal cars, you can buy different buildings and do missions for all kinds of people, but it is not enough. It has the same problem Tropico has. There is a bit of everything, but not enough. There are to few missions, to few things todo and, oh god, this really bad combat system. I spent a lot of time in XCOM: EU and I love turned base games since then, but this game messed it up really bad. I dont rage often, but this made me rage. Just bad.

So, please make a another Omerta game but listen to all the reviews and fix what you have done wrong here. The idea is good, the concept in many areas too.

So, should you buy Omerta? No, no you shouldnt.

A REAL MASTERPIECE!

I really enjoy the game. Its nice, simple and not easy! I died so often by now :D
I would just wish it would be a bit more "real". Since its strange that I can but a knife in a bandits head twice, but then I die from brain injury because he hit me with a crowbar once.
Byside of that, great work!

I have spent much time in XCOM and I love it. If like aliens, strategie and turn-based games, then this is the game for you!

KSP is by far one of the best games I have ever played. Even at his early stage, it is ridiculous funny and you wont even feel the time goes by while you play it.
As for the most games, I still hope for a Steam Workshop!

Of all the Indie Games I have played in the last time, this one is the most awesome!
Not only that the game is incredible good, the devs are behind it and the community is awesome.
Looking foreward for a Steam Workshop!
