I got this game with a humble bundle. I fired it up thinking I'd hate it, but ended up loving it instead.

Game-play reminds me of Rush 2049 with a bit of Audiosurf mixed in. Atmosphere is done very well, it has a scifi horror vibe to it that oddly works very well with the fast paced driving game-play. Levels are also challenging but not impossible, so it keeps you wanting to finish "just one more level".

Runs very smoothly on Linux with a GTX 1070, even with the real time reflections turned on.

Thumbs up but barely. The world is really pretty and the mechanics work well. However, the interiors of building are often empty and the missions are repetitive. Feels like they ran out of time half way though development and copy pasted missions while leaving interiors unfinished. Overall though, it is still a fun experience.

One of the times it would be nice to have a neutral review for a game. The art and the soundtrack are amazing and create a great underwater atmosphere. However there is practically no gameplay and while it isn't too long, it feels repetative towards the end. It is a great game setting but there is just no game built around it. It would have been nice to have some puzzles or mysteries to solve along the way, or have more open areas where you can find items, solve puzzles or interact with the fish. The way it is now just feels like a slow paced movie.

There are also several graphics glitches where the flippers dissappear for a while and the frame rate drops for a couple of seconds at a time. There is also no out of the box support for Nvidia 3D or VR (That i know of), which would've been a great addition for a game all about atmosphere and art.

Even though I enjoyed the art and music in game; overall i cannot recommend it; especially not for $20.

Great game takes a while to get the hang of it but lots of fun afterwords. The only drawbacks were the simple aerodynamics but that can be fixed with the FAR mod.

The first four hours or so are kind of bland and boring, but after that it really picks up and I couldn't stop playing! Linux port works very well too, but doesn't look as pretty as the windows version.

Early Access Review
Haven't seen many reviews for the Linux port so I'm going to write one.

This game has one of the better Linux ports of all the games on steam. Runs the same if not better than the Windows client and did not have to tweak anything to get it to run properly.

As for the game I'm only a few hours in and it seems great. There is a steep learning curve at the beginning so watching some tutorial videos is a must. After the inital start the game is fairly intuitive. There are also some glitches with people getting stick on rocks and so on but none of them seem game breaking. Would definately recommend

Pleasant suprise from the steam sales. I wasn't expecting much but the game is fairly good and the story kept me interested until the end. It also captured the feel of the older tomb raiders even though most of the puzzles were easy.
