Pros
-zombie hordes are hilarious and fun to deal with
- some characters in story are actually entertaining and you hate them after getting to know them
- brutality is very well done with finishers and sort
-map variety is pretty good overall and the fast travel system is semi unique
-gunplay is similar to others but feels fairly smooth
-upgrade systems of camps are tedious but do have grindy aspect to keep you hooked
-game is cheap $17 Is worth it so far gameplay wise
-rewarding stealth is equally fun as guns blazing
-24 hrs in and only halfway through campaign because loop of side quests and main story are very cohesive

Cons
-Skill tree is mediocre and most upgrades are pointless or boring
-difficulty isn't that had per se just more bullet spongey enemies you can Molotov or shoot from far / on ledges
-Boss fights are way too easy
-Random places are sealed off and if you gain access they have no loot
- limited amounts of weapons make game kinda repetitive
- events are pretty repetitive with no real unique scenarios
-fps is good overall (90+ on 3400x1440p) max settings but has occasional dips with 3070
-story isn't terrible but is pretty cliche zombie camps with rival groups
-realism with some things (weapons durability and gas for motorcycle) are more boring than clever

Solid 7/10 score so far

Solid FPS with lots of room to grow and is definitely a step-up from the trash which is BF2042.


Pros
-At time of this review solid player base of 3000+ users round the clock.
-No lag/latency issues with people teleporting or bullets that do no dmg
-Love being able to choose voice and flag of countries that are unique to their region
-Guns feel really good once you get a hang of how to use each type. Takes some practice but satisfying
-Bullets on impact are really fun to see someones helmet fall off
-Frame rate is pretty solid at 160+ at 4k max settings on a AMD 3600/3070 rig. I assume it will run fine at lower end gear.
-$15 Price point is really reasonable and game will be F2P in upcoming months

Cons
-Some Quality of life changes are needed and More maps/modes to keep the game feeling fresh. (They have been consistently fixing this)
-The grind for weapons is similar to COD with attachments being unlockable and take a bit of time but not the worst i've seen in a game but needs improvement
-Lack of Maps and modes (but this is still an early build of the game)

Solid 8/10 so far and can't wait to play more

Mix of SUPERHOT, Ghost runner, and Max payne. Overall the campaign is short, there are a few FPS drops (with a 3070) on some levels, and ability to blow holes in wall can make you bypass half of level design.

However i still enjoyed the game and thought the slomo dive was pretty enjoyable. solid 7/10

Great game with tons of replayability. Core game loop is hectic and fun to play solo or with friends

PSA FOR PEOPLE CRASHING on Initial launch / Pressing Continue

1.) try using the dev fix Dying Light 2 in library -> right click -> properties and add launch configuration /nolightfx
2.) If That did not work Uninstall latest nvidia driver and revert back to the last stable version

I played for 3 hrs
then did an nvidia driver update (cause of the crash)
game crashes when trying to press continue
tried a ton of work arounds but no fix yet


Game Specific review
-game is also very avg at the moment 6/10 (aside from crashes)
-Ex.Key bindings are very poor placed
-No sprint button
-Game plays like a 2008 game (dying light 1 > dead island> Dead island riptide > Dying light 2)
-Animations are very avg
-Combat is ok but nothing compared to other games of same type
-needs at least 2 months of patches
-first 2 hrs were very mediocre but then it started to get semi entertaining

This game is freaking ridiculous. Absolutely love it

This game is fantastic. Super chaotic and engaging when you get a insane run going. High score as of this review is Lvl 83 with the wand character.

It does have some optimization issues as of this review but the core gameplay is solid. Ranked Arena is best mode. I hope they add team snipers and other classic modes soon.

Also its FREE Multiplayer so try it out

tries to be hotline miami but ends up being infuriating at times. The game also has a lot of flashing sequences that cannot be disabled that end up being more annoying than enjoyable.

The combat isn't bad but wouldnt recommend at the price

Great F2P game that is similar to Halo and has fast pace
