nothing to do with the psn thing, its just not fun imo

I honestly didn't know this game existed until it released. I'm a huge fan of Cyan so I had to try it. This game does not feel finished though. Numerous graphical bugs, poor performance on my 3080TI. The main mechanic of the game is not satisfying or pleasant to use (played in VR). Refunded, but maybe I will try again when the game is actually finished.

Very poor VR implementation. The scale of everything is way off. Your character's arms twist and stretch when you try to grab your map, which is either right in the way or too far off to the side to be of any use. At one point in the tutorial they make you touch the watch on your left arm. Sounds easy, right? I couldn't do it. My actual arm was in the way. Your hands aren't where they're supposed to be. Everything in the cockpit is just way too close to you. Not enjoyable. Had to get a refund.

Dont usually review but I wanted to help fight against the negative whiplash the game is getting. in my experience the frame drops are negligible. I've only experienced 2 so far and they have not affected gameplay. The game runs beautifully otherwise, solid 60 fps QHD, all max settings. It's gorgeous, I love the weather and day/night cycle. Also: praise the guard counter. that is all.

I'm honestly impressed at the competency of this port. The only issues I have are extremely minor and are more than likely being patched out as we speak - the devs are quite actively working to fix things as they come. It runs great, I've never seen the FPS counter go below 60, and it looks amazing. Extra kudos go toward making a good Mac port. You don't see that very often, even now, and I haven't noticed any extra issues stemming from being on Mac over PC, which is rare.


As far as the game itself goes, it's one of my all-time faves. It's really fun, and it has a lot of charm. I thoroughly recommend anyone who enjoys zelda or prince of persia to give it a try.
