*SPOILERS AHEAD*

To preface, I bought Cyberpunk 2077 launch day. I was there for the bugs, the poor performance, the everything. I honestly had a really sour taste in my mouth during launch time. So much so, I never touched it again.

Fast forward to July of 2023, I decided to download it again. I wanted to give it another go. Am I glad I did.

This game has done a complete 180. Most of the bugs are gone, the performance is 10x better than what it was before, the story pulls you right in, the characters are memorable and loveable. I often don't review games but this one is an exception. I put right around 50 hours into my playthrough and I ended up choosing the "bad ending" (V deciding to commit suicide). This ending had me in complete tears, I'm talking complete mental breakdown. The credits rolling and all of your friends and people you impacted throughout the game leaving you video recordings about how much they miss you, loved you, wished you were still there, and ultimately, understanding why you made the decision.

I primary romanced Judy during my playthrough. Seeing her crying while talking about how she just wanted to call and talk to you and how much she missed you really hurt. It felt like a knife in my chest that just kept twisting. This whole interaction hit really close to home and all of the emotion was there. I found this ending to be one of the best endings in the game. It added in consequence, it allowed you to take the situation into your own hands and prevent any further bloodshed and loss of people you love. It was a masterpiece.

This game, if you still doubt it to this day, is a piece of gold. CDPR came back and fixed this game, gave it the love it so desperately deserved and out came this beauty of a game.

I cannot recommend this game enough, it is an amazing and crazy ride.
