Run.

It's a great game with lots of things to do. The endgame is very grind-heavy and due to there being very little action oriented content at high item levels, repeating the same dungeon/boss every week gets very boring/repetitive especially when you add alts into the mix.

I really do love this game, but despite the hundreds of hours I've put into it I've never really felt like I'm "ahead of the curve". This may not sit well with traditional ARPG/MMO players where time = progress. Instead, leveling up completely depends on RNG.

The only way to really "get to the top" is to either get extremely lucky and play 4 - 8 hours a day, or to shell out real life money.

This game is 100% pay to win, but if you don't feel the need to push leaderboards or min-mix your character then it should not effect your experience.

As a multi time top 100 Diablo ladder player, it kind of sucks to pour so much time into a game and have whales completely outclass you in every way with 1/10th of the play time.

PVP is not my cup of tea either.

All in all, this game has alot going for it and I will continue to log in for my dailies although I don't enjoy the time spent anymore, it feels like a sunk-cost fallacy where I've invested too much time to stop. The gameplay however is amazing and the combat is really what will hook you in. Sadly, there's just not much meaningful combat in the end-game currently.
