10/10 - This is the Witcher 3 of Harry Potter. I'd put this in the same class as Cyberpunk 2077, Skyrim, Oblivion. Such a great open world RPG.

0/10 - Paid $29.99 for the premium version, then AI Dungeon goes F2P, and removes the premium features I paid for.

Not recommended at the insane price of $34.99 with greedy microtransactions. In my opinion, MSRP should have been set around $9.99-$14.99, and even then, I would wait for a sale.

This is an RPG Maker game: the usual low resolution, funky keybindings, etc. A diablo-like action RPG, and it does that okayish (being generous here.) Not good, not bad. I played it for almost 2 hours and did not have much fun. It's not very challenging (you can AFK button mash,) and the story is slow and not good enough for me to care.

The problem is that there are so many much better action RPGs in terms of gameplay and story for a much better price. Examples would be The Diablo Eternal Collection at $39.99 MSRP, Path of Exiles - free, Grim Dawn at $24.99 MSRP, Book of Demons at $24.99 MSRP, and the list goes on.

On top of the crazy high MSRP, there are DLC Microtransactions for in-game consumables. This is a single-player RPG, not an online game you can play with friends. Why are devs charging $1-4 for in-game materials and consumables? Is the game not balanced? Did the devs make the game more grindy so you'd pay to skip? It's hilarious that this game has $73.70 worth of consumable DLC. As it's a single-player game, just download CheatEngine and add the stuff to the game yourself for free.

I looked into the game and see that this was a Kickstarter project from years ago. So kudos to the devs for going through with the project and delivering, But it's going to need a lot of work, content, and repricing to make this a worthwhile purchase. The original Kickstarter price of 1500 JPY would have been a reasonable ask, so I'm confused why the devs jacked up the game to cost over $100 for the complete edition. With all the DLC, this game is more expensive than all the current triple-A titles, including deluxe editions.

A good vampire survivor clone. I beat vamp survivor and basically unlocked everything there, so scratches the itch.

A solid gacha, very f2p friendly. Skins can be obtained with free currency which is rare for gachas. Been playing since launch without spending, and have most S tiers. 3.5% SSR rate is great.

I didn't see any English reviews, and several people were asking in the forum whether the English version is machine translated. Glad to report that the translation is pretty good and definitely not machine translated. From the first 15 minutes or so of speed reading, the story is interesting as well and this is not a low effort visual novel.

I was trolling the visual novel section on steam and saw that this game only had 14 reviews and only 25% were positive. With only two English reviews I was curious and had to ask; is it really that bad? So I took one for the team and bought a copy to find out. In short, yes it's that bad unless you read Japanese. Everything is machine translated and there are weird spacing on the texts etc. Another common question was about censorship; this is the all ages version. There is an 18+ hentai version that's in Japanese only.

Pros: It's available in Creole and 25 other languages. Cons: It's all machine translated so you won't understand it anyways.

I will never launch this game again and hope my $13.99 sacrifice helped save you money.

6/10 - This was a pretty short (under 6 hrs) detective style monster hunting visual novel. Very light on story and you basically just try to hunt monsters for four weeks until you deal with the boss monster.

9/10 - This is a Chinese cultivation mythology take on games like Rust, Conan Exiles, and Ark. This is not just another survival clone, there are very many unique gameplay mechanics. Def give a try.
