Autobattle is not nearly as fun as turn-based strategy. It's not that bad of a game, definitely not for me though.

Fairly in-depth fantasy strategy game that has many features and is fun to play. Some good editing and customization features. Very fun, easy to sink some hours into. Also, I was having a very strange issue with the diplomacy menu in both the demo and after purchasing. The developer worked with me hands-on to fix it. Do not regret my purchase at all.

Great art style and acting, good gameplay. The downside is the price is a bit much for what you get, especially in early access. However, I can't imagine a situation where this game is MUCH more worth it when the full version has been released.

Cons: I 100% the game after 9 hours. I did look up guides. I'm sure if I didn't, it would have added another 2 hours at least. That's still not a lot of time.

It can be a little glitchy, but this is offset by the developers being very proactive with patches and fixes.

Pros: A very humorous, lively world to explore, as a cat.

The game is overall just very fun, gameplay is cute and enjoyable.

and most importantly, cat.

Way more city builder than RTS, but one of the better combination of genre games in ages. Very chill and very fun. Most intuitive game design for a city builder.

This is getting way too much of a bad rap. It's like the Kingdom series but vikings and actual boss fights instead of repetitive tower defense. Weird how many negative reviews this has gotten. Something tells me there's an ulterior motive afoot, but I can't really say for sure. All I know is this is an enjoyable, chill game.

Very fun turn-based strategy game. Quirky and cute, there are many pros and very few cons to this game. I feel like this is the product of whatever size team of developers (probably fairly small) putting their heart and souls into a game, with very little in the way of advertising and hence a game most people have probably not heard of but would enjoy the absolute crap out of.

Where else can you go through a long space adventure as all Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Mike Tyson? Where else can you mix teams of multiple universes to combat evil on Halloween night, or fight Krampus with an entire team of Marvel Superheroes?

Where else can you weep as you fight your childhood hero, Panthro, as Magic: the Gathering planeswalkers, a character from Final Fantasy, a character from Overwatch and again, Mike Tyson?

NOWHERE. PROVE ME WRONG.

This game is so amazing, the word needs to get out there about how fun and enjoyable it is. It deserves WAY more recognition. Seriously, if you are reading this and want to bother, message me and I will give you a key for it, honest to whatever gods will listen.

Pros -

It's fun, the art style and overall ascetic to the game are great. It feels like a tabletop game with fun voice acting and has a comical, whimsical twist to it. There are a lot of hilarious lines from the characters. My favorite character might be the half-centaur who is literally just a full-human dood going around saying stuff like "I'm trying to grow a ponytail" and "My uncle's a horse" in a hilarious Puddy(from Seinfeld)-like voice.
There are so many easter eggs and pop-culture / nerd / video game references it's staggering. Panthro's only voice line is "and keep your foot off that blasted samoflange"
The turn-based gameplay is very fun. It can be a bit challenging / grindy. Some bosses / enemies are basically impervious without certain constraints being met.
Workshop content is amazing, lots of awesome characters to pick.
The adventure feel to the game is great, it's like you're playing a tabletop game but also taking part in a story. Kudos to the voice actors and writers. John de Lancie (Q from Star Trek) is great, and although I haven't heard a lot of him, I'm looking forward to more when I get farther in the main campaign. Which brings me to my next pro
Lots of content. Without downloading anything but characters from the workshop, there are two seasonal campaigns (I just started the Halloween one and it's my favorite so far. EDIT: Nope, the spacefaring one is my favorite), there's also the main main campaign and a handful of side story campaigns, not to mention an endless dungeon mode and arena modes. If you end up like me and really dig this game, it's possible to sink TOOONS of hours into it.
If you do enjoy multiverse stuff, this game is bonkers good and fun. I fought weird enemies as a group of old skool Nintendo 8 bit characters. Mike Tyson, Megaman, Samus, Mario and Link all fighting 8-bit style. It's really in-depth and enjoyable. At one point I was fighting against an enemy named Traffic Jam, whose whole bit was that he was a rapper who fights on the street with construction signs / equipment. Fighting as Mike Tyson, the Traffic Jam guy says "Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face." Which is a Mike Tyson quote. There are a lot of unique experiences to be had in this game.

Cons-
The controls can feel quite clunky at first. MIght take a bit to get used to them, and the leveling up system to get the charms is a smidge grindy, but I feel unique, intuitive and definitely worth it.

This game is an indie diamond in the rough. Does not get nearly enough attention and is extremely underrated / underappreciated

Early Access Review
Fun strategy game. Medieval times! Very cool ascetic and art. Priced decently.

Pros:
-Lots of fun, the modes that are implemented in early access are plenty fun, especially custom scenarios.
-Artwork is great, pretty much every aspect of the ascetic feel to this game is top notch (music etc.)
-While most of the ideas within the game aren't exactly new, the overall approach and strategy design feels new and refreshing, devs did really well in coming up with a good formula of strategic gameplay. The only two aspects that aren't well above average are the combat (which is pretty good, just needs some fine-tuning imo), and some of the resource management can be a tiny bit wonky (but is still really good overall)
-Custom scenario gives you a lot of stuff to play with, a decent amount of cool maps

Cons:
-Story mode is overly difficult. Hopefully the devs will make it at least a slight bit less challenging, or add difficulty settings. EDIT: Devs balanced and added two difficulty settings. Maybe I just have the IQ of a gnat, but it still seems a tad too challenging. Also, some of the story choices just seem... unnecessary? I was unable to get super far, but it seems like each choice led to the same conclusion, just in a different way.
-This is more of a "I wish this was a feature" thing, but there seems to be a lot of cool maps, and it doesn't look like it would be too difficult to implement a custom map maker to the scenario mode. EDIT: Just looked at the steam workshop, there must be tools for this available somewhere, because the workshop is map after map.
-a few small things that need fine tuning (some of the tutorial can be a little confusing, some of the gameplay needs a bit of tweaking)

Overall a really fun game, early access or not. Play the demo and if you even find it remotely enjoyable, buy this. The scenario mode is a lot more fun than anything you can find in the demo

In Russia, mother ♥♥♥♥ you!

Very fun game. Akin to Papers, Please, except that it is 3D and has a bit more depth. I'd say the only thing that Papers, Please did better was the story, and only that by a very slim margin. This game is well worth the money.

Should have listened to the other people saying you shouldn't buy this game. Requested a refund. So much potential, wasted...
