Take a look at this games updates for over the past year, and see how most of the patches are constantly addressing bugs/crashes/freezes/etc.

Now play that game today and see how buggy, broken, and unstable it still is.

It's a mess and has been one since Early access.

There is a OK game in here I think, deep down beneath the crud. From what I could get working and despite other issues on top of the performance (zero camera control to let you really see the whole battle and slow clunky menu navigation to name a few), it can be fun I guess but really just play the first game.

Enemies have way too much health, so unless I get just the perfect talents and items it's an uphill slog of tedium with every enemy you encounter. If I do get that perfect build, it's way too easy, doesn't feel very balanced. Want to like it and will keep trying to get better at the game either way because the art and music and vibe of this game is pretty solid otherwise.

Decent deck builder, ♥♥♥♥♥♥ paradox launcher. Sucks but there are other games I can play.

EDIT: After 3 DLC's and multiple patches over the past year and somehow this game runs even WORSE than starting out. Awful frame rate, choppy no matter the setting, and constant BUGS. Crash to desktops, runs ended from frequent disconnects, items still not working or not working as intended. Each "patch" just messes something else up and makes for a really sloppy experience. Really roughs up an already diamond-in-the-rough kinda game honestly.

I don't regret my time with this game ultimately but it's just disappointing.

I'd pass on this unless STEEP discount.

A really solid improvement built upon the foundation of the first game. Not perfect by any means, but when things are running smoothly, this is a great Third-Person Shooter to play with friends.

Quick Pros:
-Solid gun play (Some guns def have more Oomf/Impact than others but overall good)
-Visually speaking, pretty damn good looking and just gorgeous at times.
-Sound Design relating to guns/mods (When operating "as intended") is good
-Coop with two of your friends! (When it works)
-A good number of the weapons/items are pretty interesting and can offer a sense of diversity and on the fly customization (LOAD-OUTS PLEASE GOD)
-World building/Biome lore is actually kinda interesting especially when tied to events/Bosses.
-Archetypes are a sick addition and do give more of a sense of build diversity
-Wonderful music when it pops off (That woman singing in Yaesha is so dope)

Quick Cons:
-A lot of these pros can have an asterisk by them that say "WHEN WORKING AS INTENDED"
-As in large amount of bugs/glitches, interactions not working, rewards not spawning, puzzles bugged, progression blockers. (Devs have been quick to respond and dish out some patches (quick enough on PC at least)
-A number of these bugs/glitches still exist and as such have ruined some Hardcore runs/boss fights/progression.
-Main story is kinda not all there? I don't want to say bad, maybe rushed? Clearly DLC epilogue/continuation stuff but still weird.

Neutral:
-Random inconveniences. QOL stuff.
-Sound bugs with some weapons/skills/mods that can keep going, funny at first but now not so great lol

I'm less negative about these as they could potentially get added in later, MAYBE. (Loadouts, pauses on world stones that make me wait just a tad too long and NPCs as well)

OVERALL: Really cool game that I am ultimately having a great time with, even more so with friends!
