Early Access Review
This is the first Cook, Serve, Delicious game I've played!

The music is stellar. There is a lot of unexpected lore in the game as well, with every recipe having a long, funny history written about them. The gameplay is fast-paced, fun, exciting, and stressful. I'm pretty sure I spent the majority of play time screaming in abject terror as I watched all the orders that were expiring. Then I begin to panic and mess up orders even more. Then they give me zero medals and I got yelled at by our robo-friend Cleaver for being a failure. I softly wept for a minute before retrying the level again.

Speaking of getting yelled at by our robo-friends, the VO work is top-notch with Havana Mahoney and Negaoryx playing Cleaver and Whisk. The dialogue is well written and super funny, and both voice actresses play their parts perfectly.

The game has an excellent difficulty curve as you learn how to play and progress further. How recipes are completed varies wildly, and you may find some recipes easier than others. You can pick and choose which recipes you want to use (within certain restrictions depending on the level), thus you are able to tailor the difficulty level yourself. For those who simply want to relax and not be screeching at their monitor as they watch the gold medal slip out of their grasp because one customer didn't want a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ tomato in their burger, there is a mode where you can relax and not worry about orders expiring.

Do yourself a favour and buy this game. It's well worth it, even in its early access stage!
