Bit of a snooze-fest if I'm honest, only played early game but mission felt like it would last forever as it was beginning to look like a never-ending stalemate. I do not have time for this one unfortunately.

If you're going to spend anywhere near full price for a game, then this should be your go to right now!

Baldurs Gate 3 is teeming with life. The graphics and animations of characters in conversation are astounding, the conversation options too feel very customisable and the script writing is great! There wasn't a single cringe-worthy moment here (unless you count those that were intended to be cringe-worthy, duh).

Even the appraisal systems were absolutely amazing, I found every character to be so convincing that I genuinely had a really hard time choosing which one should romance my character. There's also a goldmine of dialogue content when you're back at the camp after a day of questing, that never makes you feel the world is empty like some RPGs do...

Not to mention some of the actual quests themselves were really well thought out and the bosses were great in my opinion. Ketheric was particularly intimidating.

And the levelling system! OH MY. Just another thing here that adds to the wealth of customisation options. It never gets old, seriously, I always look forward to levelling up as a spellcasting class because there's so many damn cool abilities and spells I can integrate into my battles and the way I strategise and play, each battle is different when I have a new spell or set of abilities equipped.

I can't recommend this game enough, best game I've played since Witcher 3 and even then I'd willingly admit it's objectively better than Witcher... (aside from Witcher obvs having more fleshed out lore due to the fact it was a book franchise first)

Do yourself a service, stop buying disappointing bethesda games and buy this indie powerhouse of a company's magnum opus!

Okay. I'm pleasantly surprised with this one... It's like a proper RPG, done correctly with humour, wit and romance all the added bonuses of a great RPG. Well I personally don't consider those optional requirements for a good RPG but this game made the mark.

It's aged very well for 2020. The graphics aren't horrendous and the animation is probably better than other new BioWare titles *cough* *cough* Mass Effect Andromeda...

The combat is OK. Nothing very special but I never liked Dragon Age combat systems very much. The story always makes up for it though... And as they've just started on Dragon Age 4. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE MAKE THE COMBAT FUN LIKE DARK SOULS OR WITCHER.

But yeh overall this game gets...

Graphics: 6.5/10 (not ♥♥♥♥, the characters are still immersive, main romance option is looking spicy ;)

Gameplay:
combat > 5/10
decision making > 8.5/10

Story: 8.5/10 (they focused a lot more on the characters and story this time round).

Way better than DAO, it's a must buy if you've played DAO or DAI.

No need to play longer than about an hour to get the jist of this game... It's vastly over-repetetive as a lot too are also pinning it. Beautiful game, and definitely a work of art as far as visuals and concept goes, but when the gameplay, progression and 'objectives' pan out, It's really let down here. Objectives are in quotations here, as there is literally none and I get why that can be cool and why they decided to publish the game like this, but even so It makes for a boring and unambiguous experience.

All-in-all though, If you're looking for a pretty climbing simulator, this game does the job but if you wanted something more, this game didn't meet the mark, unfortunately.

So Cyberpunk, Cyberpunk, Cyberpunk... Wow, we waited what? A good 8 years for this and I'm gonna be honest I've played better COD campaigns... Ok that was a lie but still.

I really did want to enjoy this game. It's made by CD Projekt Red ffs, they made The Witcher franchise, what could go wrong?! Well entirely everything when they stop designing fantasy games based on a prolific book series. The story first off was WAAAY too short and best of all when the game finishes there is f u c k all to do, just takes you back to an old save like?? wtf... I'm paying £50 for this?

No seriously if you want an honest summary of the general feel of the story... It feels like they made something which could have been ambiguous, dark and dour like Witcher (even more so as it's set in a more parralel world to reality) and Americanized it so hard it feels like a Netflix Original...

Now, lets talk about performance and a bit about gameplay shall we? Okay so if you're earning enough money to splash out on a £400 low end RTX card (or live at your parents) then by all means the performance will be good, might look okay as well. But for everyone else this game runs like a turd, sorry, It really does.
The minimum and recc specs mean nothing, seriously.

And also since it kind of ties in with performance, this game is riddled with bugs, you've seen the memes, It really is like that... wait a year at least, if you're really keen... but even a die hard witcher fan like me hates it :)

Now the gameplay! Okay the progression system was mediocre and I actually liked how the fighting and shooting in this game felt overall. The gun crafting system really does add something but how it sets you up for a grand progression then gives you f all game-time to progress with it, is really baadly thought out.

SOOO... To summarise, this isn't an RPG. The lifepaths were over-hyped as they affect like 1-2 hours of your gameplay and come up later in the game as measly dialogue options, but nothing else. The characters were forgettable. There was little developments in your relationships with characters and it felt poor... There's NO ROMANCE here, at least anything worth looking forward to. Maybe one out of the blue sex scene after a poorly setup dialogue option??? I personally didn't encounter anything like that but prostitutes... YEAH really is just a crappy GTA clone imo.

and last thing before I tell you not to waste your money on this... WHY DID U PICK SCHLONG SIZE IF THE SEX SCENES WERE CENSORED SMH

okay yeah, really don't advise buying this one, happy buying! :)

First things first: It's a Kojima game. If you've never played a Kojima game or maybe you have, although they're highly acclaimed they're not everyone's cup of tea.

saying that Death Stranding is pretty much the Kojima standard I expected, after having loved MGSV, I bought a similar experience here and that's amendable. The story and visuals are very immersive and even the enemy encounters I had with 'BT's were ♥♥♥♥ scary.

As a musician as well, this soundtrack was very cool. There was a lot of moments where I'd just be scaling a mountain or like running through some vast plain and a licensed song would start playing. It's very cinematic, suits the game great and I love that.

Overall the gameplay was fine. I enjoyed it at least, It can be quite challenging to carry a lot of equipment and have to worry about all sorts of environmental factors whilst hauling a huge load of packages. The courier concept overall worked for the most part...

Now my first piece of criticism is there could have been more character development to really invest you in the story like say The Last of Us, both 1 & 2 does pretty well, and even Witcher 3 to be honest.

SPOILERS... well kinda...

THERE'S NO ROMANCE EVEN THO IT DOES THAT ANNOYING THING WHERE IT HINTS IT... UGH.

and my last note is just... Mads Mikkelsen
^this guy in Kojima game ratings an S-class actor and i always enjoy seeing him in movies or series' in any capacity...
It's worth the full discounted price if bought as a cd key or half price on Black friday but otherwise 54.99 GBP is a bit ridiculous, almost like buying a ubisoft game rip

Empty game. Voice acting is crap and the characters are not believeable. This game is way too cliche! I'd only ever reccomend it for the sniper aspect but now i can't even do that because the sniping system won't even let you snipe over a certain distance and becomes put quite simply; impossible... Don't buy this game, not even on sale as i bought a key for it and now i am regretting it because i cannot refund it. R.I.P. :((

WOW. Was my first initial impression after playing close to an hour. This game is an amazing final product for an indie studio. As a martial-artist i decided to try this game, it definitley is not like Karate or Kung-Fu so don't come here for that however it brings a light a good style for a videogame. The progression system is awesome, and you find cool gear everywhere to improve your character. Honestly from this game, i couldn't have asked for much more.

Really great to take out any steam and of course if you hate Nazis as much as i do :))) Its short but its good. Gameplay can get repeptetive but the cutscenes were worth getting through that repepetitive gameplay. Its a definite buy if you are considering purchasing Wolfenstein 2: The New Collosus, as it quite easy and fast to complete but a good backstory for WS2:TNC. Voice acting is AMAZING of course from an AAA game right? But the characters really come to life and its very easy to feel a connection to the protaganist Blazckowitz (i'm not sure how to spell that LOL) as every ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hates Nazis anyway... I mean you should hate them unless you are some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ zen naive ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ heh. And also since i am studying Nazi Germany for my GCSE course its a fun addition to my education on Nazis. FINAL THING: The romance was amazing in this game and trust me i play games for romance!! I thought it was probably at least 2nd best romance i have seen in a game. Anyway if you're purchasing, ENJOY!
