|The most overrated game of all time|

Without mods it is unplayable with a literal orange colour filter over the whole game it looks disgusting.

inputs are clunky which are very annoying but meh its an old game.

I have experienced allot of bugs and lots of little annoyances especially with the audio whenever it plays some background music or I use the radio the audio jitters and crackles every ~250ms, that itself makes it hard to play (I have tried everything to fix this).

The movement in the game is extremely slow I even have a perk for movement speed when crouching and even when I was 2x faster crouching than I was running it still felt like I was barely moving or maybe it is just because the desert is so vast, having a game based in a desert is a terrible idea, in most open world games you have cool scenery to look at whilst travelling or the locations are not that far away from each other, in New Vegas you have A LITERAL DESERT??? it is painful to travel anywhere in this game because it will take 10 minutes of STARING AT SAND for you to get there it is MIND-NUMBING its worse than watching paint dry, I would rather watch paint dry.

The Story starts off good with a revenge based intro to the game where you get shot in the head its not as strong as Fallout 4s having your wife killed in front of you and your child kidnaped after meeting them and building a background on yourself and your family New Vegas does not build a background on you apart from that you are a courier the rest is for you to decide but its still an alright hook, the start of the game is alright but as you progress to Benny it turns out its not the end game goal that you think it is and there is no build up at all then its just sort of a meaningless moment and it pushes you onto another story line which is barely connected to Benny and which I have no idea about because I didn't research for 10 hours about the background lore of all 500 factions, its like starting a whole new game, absolutely terrible storyline it would have been 10x better if they just made it end at Benny or just removed Benny all together and made you start as a member of the NCR or something, and it gets to a point where there is too much dialogue and too many choices and quests and information to the point that it just gets boring and there is no gameplay and you are just fast traveling about and talking to people especially once you get to the strip and the robot gives you like 10 quests it just gets to the point where it is annoying to play, or throughout the game characters will just talk about absolute garbage that I could not care less about its like each character wants to tell you their whole life story when you ask them a simple question I COULD NOT CARE LESS IM TRYING TO KILL BENNY, allot of it can be shown through environmental storytelling but instead they create a dialogue slop just packing as much information they can into it, its like reading a book its just boring I'm trying to play a game, you might as well play a visual novel with the amount of dialogue in this game or just remove the gameplay all together. In short Dialogue hell, bad main story.

With all of these issues stacked up at a certain point I just wanted the game to end but it kept dragging on to the point where I had to quit.

Absolute garbage, They have managed to create a worse launcher than EA Origin, Why does it open a launcher asking me what game to play when I just clicked the play button on the game I want to play, then OH there has been an update YOU NEED TO RESTART, *Restarts*, ERROR, *Restarts*, clicks on ACTUAL game, there has been an update YOU NEED TO RESTART, *Restarts*, launch again, *OPENS ON WRONG MONITOR*, Like are we being serious rn, and between every time it loaded the game or launcher or tabbed out it fully blacks out all of my screens for 5 seconds and seems to lag my whole computer with audio cutting out for a few seconds every time.

As for Black Ops 7, I was excited about dead ops arcade but its not in the open beta, I do not really like multiplayer much but from what I played its by far the worst, any five year old with a controller has instant aim-bot, it turns the whole experience into a movement and positioning game, which is fine for me but if you were to go wide peek a semi-competent person who has a controller who is pre-aiming you are dead before you even shoot a bullet and I have an average first shot on target of 350ms (very fast), your average father of 2 working for 8 hours a day is going to get folded if they are on KB&M, the ultra futuristic style to guns etc in these games is trash and never connects with the rest of the game well, then you have the stupid wall running double jumping BS that everyone hates, and You have a wall hack sniper ability that goes through the entire map, then at release there is probably going to be a bunch of slop skins for children (either actual children or grown ass men) to buy, embarrassing.


As for Zombies we get a 1x1 box map to test out, it literally has like 3 doors. packapunch and power are behind 1 door?, You instantly get given 2 gobblegums which give you all of the perks and power-ups in the game, The weapon rating system and buying effects are garbage, the idea of armour in zombies is stupid that is what jug is for, The extract system is bad, you should have to do an Easter egg to end a map, saving the game would be better. The UI is like a data analysts dream there is garbage everywhere, health bars on zombies is just terrible no one wants this, These games are ultra focused on providing content for toddlers now its just sad.

This game is about a 6 or 7 non modded but with mods it could easily be a 10 if it were not for the bugs

like really... its as if they did not test the game at all before releasing


it crashes every 30 mins to 2 hours ( I am playing with mods, so may vary)

some quests bug out and require searching how to fix

sometimes the game stutters and drops to 1 or 2 FPS for a minute then fixes its self (I have a feeling this is related to DLSS and might just be a me problem)

mages guild and fighters guild quests are extremely repetitive

levelling system is terrible enemies become impossible to kill as you level up more (there is a mod to fix this)

difficulties scale way to much (there is a mod to fix this)

sprinting looks goofy in third person (there is a mod to fix this)

lock picking is just bad, you can get it first try every time but it just takes a long time (there is a mod to fix this (auto lock picking))


apart from that the game is a masterpiece, the visuals are amazing it is one of the best looking games I have ever played,
I have a 1440p HDR monitor, 4070 ti super, I am using ray tracing high everything else ultra, DLSS quality with frame gen and FPS is around 75-140 (~150 mods) depending on the area

its very immersive

the main story is a masterpiece

the DLC is very good

classic amazing soundtrack

improves on old oblivion without taking away from it

massive modding community improving the game every day

pretty gud
