Indeed. Give me a good game with access to a flycam command, and I do go a bit overboard. With the Mass Effect games, I edited the config files to give me different focal lengths and such to get all kinds of shots. I wish it were easier, and I wish more games had decent flycams to set up cool shots. :)

Happy again: Turning of Anti-Aliasing and setting Shader Detail to medium for L4D2 on OS X makes performance acceptable. Granted, it's not as pretty as on Windows, but still fun enough, so I'm glad I don't need to reboot for casual bouts of zombie slaughter. :D

Happy: L4D2 for OS X. Sad: the performance on my machien is much worse than the Windows version. Guess I'll still be rebooting for my L4D/2 needs. :-/
