This game has been a blast to play, I currently have 20 hours or so in the game and have unlocked 15 percent of the various perks/spells/secrets. There is so much to explore in this semi-template semi-generated world. The secrets always spawn in the same positions in the map, and appear to always spawn, however the rest of the map is generated each time the game is loaded. I feel this is both intuitive and clever, making the game feel beatable because you start learning the few monuments to look for as static landmarks to know where you are on the map.

For those that do not enjoy it's difficulty, there are some very good mods that make things easier but remain game balanced so its still not easy. I've played with various mods that add a very slow heal over time, mods that add new starting spells/wands loadout to use, mods to add a mini map... In the end there is enough versatility out there to satisfy many people.
