A RoboCop Game which will probably make anyone past their 30s nostalgic.

15 hours of doing robocop things, in a more classic boomershooter style. thankfully not modernised to be something none of the target audience would have wanted. you don't go around collecting gold nuggets and herbs to craft an AK, you just shoot criminal scum and uphold the law.

The game enventually becomes repetitive but it ends just before it does.
There is a gun upgrade mechanic thats a bit convoluted and I just ignored it, but you can costumise your auto-9
There are guns you can pick up but your only real loadout option is the auto-9, it eventually become better than 95% of the other guns you can pick up. It's robocop, why would you not want to use your auto-9 anyways.
You revisit the main area a few times, you don't really explore much of detroit, you won't be doing much wolrd exploration.

My only major complaint is sound design, it's a lot of high pitched sounds that I don't enjoy. The merchant room being the best example, that's just torture to my ears.

It's challenging and feels responsive, sometimes i get the impression abilities aren't being properly interrupted but i haven't played enough to be certain.

If you enjoy similar games and are looking for a tougher challenge, this is probably what you're looking for.

It's XCOM action without the long setup. 8/10

One of the best games I've played. Even in its unfinished state.

Updates are wide and far but they are consistent, and gets me back into it everytime a new one comes out.

Combat is tricky but rewarding, and helps build up tension when fighting through the story/adventure mode.
