Hello random internet stranger here! I saw your locked post on rimworld and thought I'd offer a bit of help you may not have seen. In options there is a box called "Add name" and using that just about guarantees any name you select will show up. I'm not sure if they are more likely to be a pirate leader though. Anywho I would have just posted this to the thread but it was locked.. hope it helps and if not or if you already knew feel free to ignore me!
