This game is a ton of fun, especially if you're the type to focus on lifeskills/tradeskills in MMOs. There is combat, there is a story, but the meat of the game comes from the tradeskills and how they work together.

I really love how the map works, with each tile representing a whole persistent map that's more than big enough for a settlement or a quarry or a hidden cache for your various treasures. Especially helpful are the notes that you can leave on each tile of the map, as well as the little icons for quickly remembering which tile has your house, or which house has which animal farms, etc.

This game has the best parts of Breath of the Wild mixed with some Ark-style tiered crafting. It has some bugs in multiplayer when switching between islands, but otherwise it's a lot of fun. I like the Diablo-esque loot, and the ability to craft semi-unique items using prefixed crafting materials. The dungeons could use a little something, they feel empty and a bit too straight forward.

Holy moly, if this is just the alpha, I can't wait for the full release. This game was absolutely worth the $3. One of the best games I've played in a while.

There's no story (or at least yet?) but the mechanics are super satisfying, I love being able to throw my sword to take out a baddy. Being able to sneak around and use a grappling hook just feels great.

This game is the definitive Elder Scrolls game as far as I'm concerned. I owned this game when it first came out, and bought the game of the year edition when it became available, as well as both versions for the original Xbox. One of my favorite aspects of this game was using the editing tool to make my own houses, and creating my own weapons and armor.
