Worth the 89 cents.

Short fun parkour game

Great game, just don't pay 20 dollars for it. It usually goes on sale for 90% off (so you only pay 2 dollars). Good music and building design, but the gameplay is lacking. Sail around from building to building Wind Waker style and then climb some buildings to the top, except the climbing extremely boring. It is impossible to die, fall to your death, or even get hurt at all so any challenge the game has is ruined.

This game saved my marriage.

Timeless parkour game in a gorgeous city.

You should buy for the achievements. There's 840 and it takes like 30 minutes to get all of them. The achievements are different letters/numbers/symbols so you can spell out some funny stuff for your achievement showcase, like this https://gyazo.com/b93c490888895bf65142db985cf2c0ea

A lot of things wrong here.

First, you can't configure controls. You either move with WASD or arrows keys, and use shift to sprint. Everything else is with the mouse. That's literally all the controls, no crouch or jump, and you can't even customize them. What if I want to use the numpad to move, or buttons on my mouse? And if there is some way to change controls, the game gave you no indication of how to do so.

Next is the puzzle types. I enjoyed the difficult puzzles, and a lot of them were clever, but a lot of the puzzles were terribly executed, namely the environment ones. There are good environmental puzzles, like the apples on the tree branches, the birds singing different pitched notes, or standing behind the colored glass, and then there are absolutely terrible ones like requiring you to stand in one specific spot behind a tree branch to get the branches/leaves/shadows to line up NEAR PERFECTLY. That's not challenging, it's just frustrating to look for the exact, one and only spot to solve the puzzle. It doesn't even feel like solving the puzzle, it feels like tracing a picture. Now the amount of puzzles that were good outweighed the bad, but nearly every section had a few of these, so you couldn't avoid them. The absolute worst was the desert ruins, where you had to angle the sun on the board to look at the markings. You'd have to stand in very specific spots and angle the sun perfectly to get a view of the board. There's no creative thinking to that, it's just trial and error to find the right spot.

The ending was also lackluster, and there were no fun easter eggs. The windmill videos didn't make sense and listening to someone monologue about an topic on the phone recordings were boring. For a 40 dollar game it's a letdown.
