A medieval-themed version of Qix, this game is fast, fun, casual, and easy to pick up. There are varying difficulty levels, allowing the game to be played by both the casual arcade lover to skilled enthusiasts. The mechanics are simple and the game is very much "pick-up and play", and with the low price tag "Fortix" is something worth adding when you've got that extra dollar or two hanging around (or even if you don't).

An anime and multiplayer version of Minewsweeper that is fun and fast-paced. The story mode has no real merits other than practice, but playing with other players online with the multiplayer mode can be rewarding. A good casual game to try if you're looking for something more laid-back.

A short and fun visual novel that focuses on e-sports. The plot is very linear, but still interesting for those at all interested in e-sports. It really puts you in the spot of the main character, who is very relateable. The personalities of the characters are fairly one-dimensional, but the short length and the fact the game is free to play is enough incentive for those interested in trying visual novels but not necessarily willing to put in large time commitments to make the plunge and give SC2VN a go.

Early Access Review
A wonderful fighting game inspired by the Super Smash Bros. series, Rivals of Aether is intuitive and easy to pick up, with fun characters and unique mechanics. It is obviously reminiscent of the SSB games, but has adopted many characteristics of its own design that makes it feel like its own game rather than a cheap knockoff. Currently in Early Access there is a bit of lack of content (playable characters/stages, single player content), but new content in both these areas are slated to come with the official release.

AdVenture Capitalist is as time-consuming as it is fun. Prepare to spend hours agonizing over optimal spending and investor use. A perfect game for those deserving of riches but too lazy to actually go out and do ♥♥♥♥.

A unique game that presents a challenge to experienced puzzle players as well as novices new to the genre. The graphics and sound all contribute to an eerie atmosphere meant to immerse the player in a mysterious mood while keeping back from becoming a horror/thriller game. The puzzles are fun, but the game length is short and has relatively low replay value. Regardless, even one playthrough of "The Room" and its masterful blend of complexity and simplicity is worth it.

The story was fantastic, and ends in a way that leaves the player excited for the next chapter. Great soundtrack, fantastic artwork, and memorable characters make this visual novel worth a run. Unfortunately, there is no voice acting, which may deter some players. They spend a lot of time fleshing out the details of the world of the game, which at times can detract from the main story and bore the reader, but may be an attractive feature to those who enjoy such intricacies.
